My kids gave me a certificate for a float session for my birthday and I booked myself for the first appointment as I had read negative reviews about smell and hygiene. I am a major germ phobe and when I walked in I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The room was spacious, clean and equipped with a shower and toiletries. There were no bad smells, just salty smell occasionally in the pod. They have lotion in the sink area at the back so bring your own if you want to lotion before dressing. I forgot my flip flops that I ALWAYS use in showers outside my home but I did not feel gross at all. The receptionist was friendly and explained how to use the pod and oriented me to the room. The temperature in the room was comfortable and the water was warm...not hot. I brought a shower cap but it was useless and my hair got all wet do I was thankful for the shower. I left the pod open partially to start with but I got very comfortable and closed it a little later. They provide ear plugs and a head rest and they were very useful. You can change the colour of the light in the pod...when I started getting restless half way through, I opened my eyes and looked at the different colours. It is comforting to see the salt lamp outside the pod too. The music button didn't work...or did it? I had earplugs in Your skin feels slippery in the water and the exposed parts get dry and salty. There is a water misting bottle and towel in the pod if you need to rinse your face.

The moment I entered this clinic I felt so refreshed as the clinic environment is so clean and peaceful. I almost forgot half of my pain after entering the clinic and then front desk ladies greeted with a big smile and gave me some paperwork.
