Cleanings have been paid for twice a year by insurance have not changed insurance or jobs and now all of a sudden I'm getting bills for things they're not covering or saying I had done when not and when my insurance is not changed. They definitely make up stuff to get money out of the customer now the front staff acts like they know everything and are never wrong. New doctors come and go. I could only imagine why. You'll never get the same one also it's OK for them to call you same day and cancel on you multiple times with mo repercussions but if I call to reschedule on the same day and reschedule they have to charge me for it good luck ever getting that money from me and when I call them out for it, they don't give a crap. Will be taking my whole family else elsewhere. I'm glad they lost five people we will never be back. Eventually this place will be another name being bought out again. BEWARE.

The hygienists, assistants, techs, etc are equally as great. I see Dr. Birchmeier and I think he is a great dentist. He has his quirky dentist jokes and asks questions when he has his hands in your mouth! He really cares about his patients and when you have work done other than cleaning, he makes sure it's done right and looks great. The patient area is open and bright. So if you hate the dentist, this set up will help out with the anxiety. It's not a white sterilized room with tools laying around. And they have TV's on the ceiling!

I did have a crown put on and was told the cost of it and I paid the amount I was told that day. Several months later I received a bill stating I owe them more money. I told them I paid my bill and I don't owe them anything more. They kept sending me bills in the mail. Now they are hounding me to pay this bill. It is under $100. Since I already paid my bill the day of, I should not be having to pay them more.

This dentist is not scary…read more I know, it flies in the face of all conventional wisdom, but it's true! Not only is everyone in this office friendly, they lack the usual looking-down-the-nose-at-you-for-daring-to-ingest-sugar that most dentists have. On top of that, they understand the reality of the cost of their work, and present your options in a straightforward manner. I travel from Lansing to Fowlerville for this dentist, and it's worth every mile.
