They DID provide coffee and tea, which was wonderful! The classroom was small so it limited the size of the class (we had 7 in ours) which was nice. Parking was good, facilities had only one bathroom, which is not ideal. They did have knee pads for us to use if we chose to do CPR on the floor. That was good! Overall I would definitely go here again, and I am hoping they start ACLS so I can take that course from them as well.

Decided to go by the Yelp reviews to choose an NRP class, and it's rated well for a good reason. Their office is in a business building with lots of parking. The classroom was clean and spacious. George is an amazing instructor with tons of experience. He reviewed NRP in a straight forward, detailed approach that made it more understandable. There was dedicated time to do hands on practice with a term infant mannequin and preterm mannequin. Also lots of hands on practice with intubation equipment (laryngoscope, tubing, stylet, etc) and administration of meds (epinephrine IV and volume expanders). I definitely would renew with them again! Btw If you don't see a class day or time that's available, give them a call!

During the conversation, she stated that she did not appreciate my comments and that another staff member had informed her about them. The tone of the call felt confrontational and unprofessional. When I explained that my REVIEW reflected my personal experience and that I was not the only student who had expressed similar concerns, I felt dismissed and was told, "I am talking about you!." As a student, I believe feedback whether positive or negative, should be received professionally. My comments were based on my experience with the lengthy delay in securing an externship placement after graduation. I expected a constructive discussion rather than feeling criticized for sharing my honest experience.

We looked at multiple facilities, but felt right at home when we toured Super Munckins Academy. The teachers Michael, Romaria, and Liliane are all very kind and caring. I have seen them treat all the children as if they are family. My son has always been excited at drop off, relieving a lot of anxiety when we first started daycare and every day after. I always know that he is in good hands and am never stressed or worried during the day. Every time we pick him up he is smiling ear to ear. They provide frequent status updates and photos throughout the day which is much appreciated. They also utilize baby sign language as well which really helped foster our son's communication skills. In addition to this they taught my son to say please/thank you before 18 months which, I will tell you, is the cutest thing ever. They do daily teaching activities and go to the park as well. They get a lot of outdoor play as well which my son loves. They are able to accommodate special requests as well (ie early nap time if needed based on appointments). Both my husband and I work 8-5 most days so we were worried about finding a place that could accommodate our work hours. Michael worked with our schedule and was able to plan early drop off/pick up for us which was much appreciated! They even are able to provide weekend care with advanced notice if one of the teachers are available.

My husband and I really appreciate the atmosphere this home-based daycare provides as it is important that young children enjoy their early years from infant-preschool. It is more than a family based daycare (note 14 kids is the maximum enrollment) as the program mimics preschool curriculum and teaches kids ABCs, shapes, coloring, name writing and whole lot more. Special kudos for introducing different languages- they speak Spanish and Portuguese and this place is well diverse. The teachers are all very caring and attentive to her needs and have been instrumental in her preparation for kindergarten. Each day (weather permitting) the kids have outdoor play and they visit different neighborhood parks, visit the library, and seasonal parks. One of the many perks is that they utilize the Bright Wheel App where they post many pictures and short videos throughout the day, so parents can see how their children are up too:) The location is ideal too as the home is next to SMPD, library, various shops and minute away from Foster City, 101/92 freeways. I too, agree that Super Munchkins Academy is a true gem and we are so grateful to have our daughter go there. She always talks highly of her teachers and her friends she has made along the way. Many daycares do not offer lunches and for those that do, the meals are really subpar: a couple *very* expensive daycares we toured had these sad looking cheese pizza and carrot sticks for lunch, or mac and cheese, or sad pieces of chicken nuggets. Oranges that come from fruit cups. At Wonderland, Oskana makes fresh homemade food, soups with vegetables and proteins, oatmeals, fresh fruits. That to us is a really big win. All the caregivers at Wonderland are genuinely kid people and we feel the warmth and care that come from them when they interact with the kids. That is also really important to us. Working with kids requires a lot of patience and I can't imagine sending my son to someone to whom it's just a job. He spends so much of his days there. We want him to feel loved, engaged, comfortable, happy and that's what he has been! They have music classes twice a week and it's a great idea! The kids are exposed to different instruments, dance, sing, play with music. Many times my son would surprise me on what he knows that he learned from daycare. Like the alphabets or days of the weeks, months of the years the first time he excitedly recited them to me. They do a lot of activities and projects and had a lot of fun. The outside times are great as well. Most importantly, we feel very safe sending our son there. Oksana, Natalia, and Khrystyna are all very attentive and pay close attention to the kids. Oksana, Wonderland owner, is really easy to work with. She's highly capable, responsive, professional, reasonable, flexible. She cares a great deal about the kids and her business, and always strives to provide the best care. Having experienced being really stressed out about finding the right care, I would highly recommend Wonderland to any parents who want a peace of mind when sending their kids to daycare.

I've taken MANY MANY CPR cert/recert courses over the past 30+ years in nursing. This was one of the best -- thorough, to the point, delivered in a personal and professional manner. As the world's greatest procrastinator I was able to register in a very timely manner and complete my certification very efficiently. I had tried to register with Pulse Check CPR in Hayward but even a week later I've had NO response to my e'mail or phone inquiries. I won't ever even try Pulse Check again, going right to LifeSaver CPR -- they know how to get the business done. read more

I've attended many First Aid & CPR courses over the past twenty years. I was impressed yesterday with the enthusiam and ability of the instructor to explain every detail necessary for the attendees. Chris was an engaging trainer who brought some humor and lightness to what can sometimes be a very boring topic. Every person had their own CPR mannequin to practice on and his assistants circled the room to make sure everyone knew what they were doing. If you have to sit for hours and take a course you may have taken many times, do it with Chris - he gets it. read more

If you're going to do CPR training then this is the service you want to use. The presentation was dynamic and entertaining. The instructor used techniques that I have used as teacher to keep the "class" engaged and on task. He made it fun but also, he delivered the material in a concise manner that was easy to remember. Great class. Came to our organization and taught 80 people. Very good and delivering a lot of detailed information in a clear way, even including the "why" you do it this way, which is helpful. The way in which the material was delivered was with a little humor so keep things moving along. Very good job! read more

This is because Roy is an outstanding teacher and incredibly kind human being. His current location at Townsend Street in San Francisco is spacious and very close to the freeway. Plenty of street parking which is bonus for the city. His website is easy to navigate in terms of scheduling and he is very accommodating for individuals as well as small and large groups.
