This morning I went on a tour with Jason on the emtb tour and originally my gf had booked the beginner course but since she was ill and couldn't join I was comfortable enough to ride the intermediate course! I was absolutely thrilling the entire time on the mountain trails. The scenic view over Malibu and the coastline is just simply amazing! He was very helpful and stopped to take breaks and pictures! Afterwards we stopped into Neptune's net for food and drinks where the famous fast and the furious scene was filmed at. All around great experience I Highly recommend for my friends, family and for anyone else who reads this review!

Our second time out with Jason today and I'll I can say is, sign up ASAP!!! If you want to escape the busy downtown city life and catch a fresh breath of nature and submerge in scenic bliss come out and give it a try. The EBikes are user friendly, navigate well and encompasses so much of nature and outdoor wellbeing. We took our family out today, whom were visiting from Florida to show them Hollywood Hills and it was the best outing. We all had a blast! Jason is professional, positive and outgoing. He makes you feel confident and comfortable with the bikes and trails. Plan your trip now!

Decided to do something different during my trip in Southern California. I skipped out on some of the common tourist events, and booked LifeRush Adventure's Electric Mountain Biking experience in Malibu. And I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! I was accompanied by a few friends, and we absolutely loved the e-bikes. Jason did a wonderful job instructing my friends and I on how to operate the bikes and he also instructed us during the tour. My group and I could not believe how beautiful the views were during our tour, did not know there were other great things to check out in Malibu besides the beach. With the pedal assist that kicked in, it made it easy to bike through the trail and appreciate all of Malibu's beauty. Next time I am in the Los Angeles area, I am definitely going to check out some of the more intermediate trails. I would highly recommend the Electric Mountain Biking experience in Malibu if you are looking to try something new out with your family members or friends, it's a fun one!

I wanted a little adventure during my girls trip out to Malibu, so I picked the Electric mountain biking tour.

Best bike shop around... and they are dog friendly!…read more This Santa Monica bike shop is located on the corner of Broadway and 25th street with its own parking lot. It had a great selection of quality bicycles at reasonable prices. They stock Trek, Cannondale, Santa Cruz, Colnago, Pinarello and more in all types of bikes (road, hybrid, mtb, etc.). I was looking for a specific Trek Madone in a size small and this is the only local store that had it in stock. I called in advance to confirm its availability and set up a time to view the bike. I spoke with Monty. On the day of my visit, I met with Monty, took the bike for a spin, and took her home, along with a few other items (pedals, computer mount and water bottle cages). It was a smooth and easy transaction. Monty did the basic fitting and the guys in the service area installed all of the other items. The service area was busy with customers picking up and dropping off their bikes. Some even stopped in during their rides for a quick fix. Customer service was outstanding! Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. If I could rate it higher, I would... Pedals (my dog) had a great time hanging out in the store. We will be back!

The street parking option at the base is free and conveniently near the start of the hike. The views at the top are rewarding. The paths are large enough for a group and provide opportunities for interesting conversation along the way. I came with my alumni association. It was an ideal venue for the event. I saw a center I did not have time to enter near the top. It looked inviting. The various detours leading to the top present opportunities to discover new outlook points if I return, which I'd enjoy doing. I also saw at least one if not more paid parking lots, as options. It is near some enjoyable restaurants for a meal, casual snack or beverage after. The hike provided exhilarating exercise I could do efficiently, as I took in the scenery, worked out, engaged in stimulating conversation, and met fellow alumni, after I had had most of my day to enjoy, then had most my evening free for dinner with other alumni.

The sun was out but we enjoyed the exercise and the view. There is street parking offered at the bottom and once you go up the short dirt road you'll immediately see the stairs. From the bottom it can look quite steep but once you start going up you get used to the feel. The worst part is that the stairs are all uneven and some are pretty high (especially for kids/short adults like me), but overall the hike is pretty quick. For those in excellent physical shape, it probably only takes ~10 mins to get to the top. For those who might need to take more pauses, ~20 mins. As you walk up, there are a couple of areas you can pull over on the side and catch your breath on. Once you're at the top, there are a ton of great views and photo op spots. Heading down was a little confusing because we tried to avoid the stairs at first and use the dirt roads, however the path we picked didn't lead all the way back to the bottom so we just ended up taking the stairs for half of it.
