I had migraine and sleep disorders for years. I got bad headache if I didn't sleep well. I didn't sleep well if I got headache. It is such a bad circle! Especially this year, I had so many troubles in my life to deal with, that caused me to have constantly migraine, pain and headache. I was full of despair. Luckily I met Dr. Hung and Dr. Tseng. They are amazing! They saved my life. On Halloween 2021, I felt all my muscles on my back were stiff, pain. I asked Dr. Hung to take me in the next day. They did Acupuncture first then Dr Tseng came in, using his elbow to press different points on my back. Oh, my Lord. That was so good. My whole back was loose after half an hour. Dr. Hung also gave me Chinese herbal medicine to adjust my sleep and my body system. The third visit, I still felt pain on my head. They gave me acupuncture, massage. After that Dr Tseng used electrical cupping to move around my head few times. The pain on my head disappeared. MIRACLE! I was so happy. I started smiling from my heart which I haven't had that feeling for many months. The fourth visit, I still felt some pain on my back, after Acupuncture, Dr. Tseng gave me scratch on my back and neck. My pain almost completely disappeared after four times. Dr. Sam and Dr. Melinda are as good as it gets. I can not recommend them enough. I called out of desperation as I lived with migraines and upper back pain. I had tried everything before acupuncture. I went to a chiropractor for over a year twice a week and did massage on a regular basis. The only relief I had was the day of but not long term. Dr. Sam and Dr. Melinda brought me long term relief. The second I met them I knew I was in good care. They love and believe in what they do. They care about their patients. The care I received went above and beyond. Dr. Sam would extend his day if it meant fitting me in and I was experiencing an intense migraine. If you're looking for an answer to your pain, this is the facility. I have been dealing with heel pain due to chronic calcific tendinopathy for ten months. I have tried PT and iontophoresis with minimal improvement. On vacation near Granite Bay CA, I was referred to Life River Acupuncture by a close friend and had three treatments by Dr. Sam Tseng over about 10 days. I can report that I have improved significantly and have minimal residual pain. Traditional medicine physicians like myself are often skeptical of alternative treatments, but I have too many friends and family members that have benefitted from acupuncture not to have tried it. I have been seeing Dr Hung and Dr Tseng for over 4 months and the pain I had from my 15cm fibroid subsided completely. At the same time, I was also having issues standing up after sitting. The pain shot up from my tailbone and it was getting more frequent. I saw a chiropractor for 4 sessions but the adjustments were not helpful. Dr Hung treated me once and the pain relief was immediate. Through regular visits, I rarely have issues with getting up from a chair after prolong sitting. Both doctors care about their patients very much and have amazing knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and experience. I am very pleased with my experience at Life River Acupuncture. Dr. KuoSen (Sam) Tseng has been treating me for chronic lower back pain and it's working. I have osteoarthritis in my back.
