My Four year old 2TB external hard drive suddenly stopped working. I tried to troubleshoot it myself first and have friends in IT look at it... Long story short, no one could figure out the issue and I wound up finding these guys online. I'm very glad I did! When I called they were friendly, honest and upfront. I paid $287 (I think this service may normally be more expensive, but I was grateful for the price I got) + the cost of a new drive to transfer the files onto. It took them only two or three business days to get my old drive and its replacement with my restored files back to me. All of my files were there and working. I wanted to cry from happiness, but I kept it cool. I have a few other things that I'd given up on that I'd love for them to work on. Will definitely be going back to them. Visited three apple repair locations in the Treasure Valley to repair a broken MacBook screen: was told it couldn't be repaired due to age, it would need to be wiped, or the service would take a week to accomplish with uncertain results. In all three cases it was highly advised I just paid $1200-$2200 for a new MacBook. Down on my luck, I visited Lifeline Repairs, who I saw advertised as phones and tablets only. The kind gentleman turned my broken MacBook around SAME DAY, $500! This is what customer service combined with competency looks like. How silly I felt when I could not unlock my phone as a result of using the pattern log in. Who rescued me? LifeLine in Boise did. Although I had watched numerous YouTube videos, nothing worked on unlocking the phone. Yet, these guys were terrific. They were also spot on about informing me that it would NOT behoove me to have my "purple line" appearing on my screen fixed. I finally had my phone fixed at LifeLine after a roller coaster of an experience at irepair. LifeLine was clearly more knowledgeable on what the issue was, fixed it quicker, and for a lot less money! I got a new screen and battery put on my iPhone in a matter of minutes and the folks there were super friendly. They are also one of the only places around to capture data on a busted phone and upload it to your new phone so you don't loose everything from a broken device accident. These guys are local, honest, and have your best interests in mind. I brought my phone in for water damage any the staff was able to diagnose the phone within a few hours. Walk ins are welcome and the guys are very straight forward about the plan and can quote costs up front. I went in for a screen repair and the guys offered me half off for a new battery replacement as well. In conclusion I loved the service I got, it was quick and I thought the pricing was fair.
