Over that period of time it has constantly continued to improve and is now what I would consider to be the best marina around offering a total range of marine services and equipment. It by and far has the best bang for your buck for experienced labor, good workmanship, parts and equipment. I also like their location on the Dania Cut Off, which is far less cramped and more spacious than those located along the Intracoastal which always seem to have a more rushed more hassle of an environment in which to perform marine services.

Overall great experience from the warm welcoming smile at the front to service as promised. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

While at first Tony seemed like a trustworthy, well mannered and experienced mechanic, he…read morecompletely did an about face once my boat was trailered to his shop and he had all my payments. He sold me a used engine and we agreed on the price and installation. He guaranteed the engine and the work he would do. (verbally of course). Once the jobs were supposedly finished and I had paid him well over $10.000, the boat did not work properly. I got stuck in the water because the shifting was not working properly and the engine dying out. This is when he started saying he is not responsible for any electrical/electronic problems, shouting aggressive absurdities and not to call him again! Can you believe it ? He did not even change the oil and filter in the 2005 engine ! He even went further to charge me top retail prices for used parts he put onto the engine which should have been included in the engine price. Turns out that after 17 days of agony and another $3000 in labor and parts down the pit with an expert Mercruiser mechanic that did he not only sell me an engine which could not work properly with my Alpha drive (since it came off an Bravo drive), he used all the wrong parts and turned the engine into a mutant. I have owned boats for 25 years and can honestly say that he is one of the biggest crooks in the business. Do yourself a favor and keep well away from him and his business. I know it's very hard to find reliable mechanics in Florida, but this guy tops the list for the most dishonest, incompetent and aggressive.

I was, however, lucky enough at one point to finally catch someone in and though I happen to like dogs, I'm not so sure they should have the run of an office space, but the person I met was pleasant and nice. I explained my problem, being with a marine GPS unit. He kindly explained what might what he thought might be the nature of the problem, asked me to check out of few things then call in to set up a repair appointment aboard my boat. Accordingly I did check the things out he mentioned, phoned him back but said he couldn't set anything up any specific repair time at the moment but would phone me back to arrange it for it on a Thursday or Friday of that week. Well, as is rather typical with how thing go in South Florida when someone says they'll phone you back, they often don't, and he didn't. So, after both of his suggested appointment dates had pretty much passed and no call, I drove back to his office and again no one except the two dogs were there. When someone operating a business fails to do what they say they are going to do such as phoning back, have a closed office with no door notes or indications of when their office might be open and two suggested appointment dates missed, such begins to raise serious questions of reliability in my mind so I generally go looking elsewhere, which in this case I did. Since they didn't perform any of the services I wanted them to perform, I can't comment on the quality of their work, but I can comment on the manner in which they seem to operate their business, which is a flat out Eek! I won't be back. One Star, which is in fact one star more than they deserve.

My experience with Angel, the owner, was a complete nightmare…read more After dropping off my boat for service, I was promised updates on costs, but communication quickly fell off. I went two weeks without any word, and when I finally heard from him four weeks later, it was an excuse about back surgery, something which he could of let me know in advanced but instead choose to ghost me. By week six, the bill was an outrageous $5,500 with no prior estimate. I paid it, hoping the repairs were done, but upon testing the boat, the motors wouldn't start. After bringing it back, I faced overheating issues and was promised a follow-up trip to ensure everything was fixed. Despite this, Angel had the audacity to send me another invoice for accompanying me to the marina. After I had gone 3x to test the boat after his "service". The prices he charged were ridiculous, and every other shop I've consulted agrees. This was my first boat, and unfortunately, I learned the hard way. I hope my experience saves someone else from making the same mistake.
