Prior to going to the hospital, I went to a walk in clinic, the Dr there told me to go to the hospital right away, otherwise I would never have gone. When I called the phone number I was told there was a thirty minute wait at the main Waterloo location and ten minutes at this St Jacobs location. When I arrived, the woman at the desk told me to expect an hour wait, but it was more like twenty minutes. The technician was quick yet kind and it was nice hearing him singing quietly to his music in the other room. If this review was based purely on the technician, it would've been five stars for sure. The small size of the waiting room and the confusion between the receptionist and the other patients brought the rating down though.

Its often quite busy in the morning though so you'll want to download the lab's check-in app to save some time. I responded that the online check-in app did not specify that I should "check in" at the front desk after checking in online -- so how was I to know?

The doctor eventually saw my wife but was unable to perform a proper assessment (about 2 minutes in total) on my wife as the main doctor was not available. They refused to return our cash even though they did not complete the assessment and did not provide a prescription. Further, they told us to return for another visit but then to pay more cash on our second visit. Only after complaining twice (my wife first then me) did they acquiesce and return our cash. This medical centre lacks integrity and I will not visit again

The entrance is outside of Walmart and they ask you to knock on the locked door and wait until the receptionist lets you in. I saw Dr. Roach and he was awesome! I will definitely return here and highly recommend it to others looking for after hours medical care.
