Doctor and staff were friendly and good at telling us what was happening. Parking here is pretty pricey; $3.50 every half hour. That's unacceptable in my book. The main entrance is in an odd location above a hill on Charleton Street. It's crazy how they expect people to walk up all of those stairs. I find it best to enter the ground floor doors in the Juravinski building on the right hand side, and use the elevators that are a few steps once inside. There's a Tim Hortons and gift shop on their main level as well as lots of comfy chairs that look out at the drop off/pickup spot.

When we asked reasonable questions to better understand the process, she appeared irritated and dismissive, which significantly increased our anxiety before the procedure. She demonstrated a clear lack of compassion and empathy. Patients and their families deserve patience, clear communication, and professionalism especially in a vulnerable medical setting. Instead, we felt like we were being treated as an inconvenience. During the interaction, she also made a point of telling my wife that she is Filipino. This felt unnecessary and unrelated to the medical care being provided, and it made the interaction even more uncomfortable. Most concerning, I overheard what appeared to be negative comments about us in the reception area. Speaking about patients in that manner, within earshot of others, is unprofessional and unacceptable. Healthcare requires not only clinical competence but also respect, discretion, and compassion. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect those standards. I hope hospital leadership takes this matter seriously and addresses the need for improved professionalism and patient-centered care.

There are treats for the patients and for visiting children, and there is a kitchen stocked with coffee and tea. There are even free-to-use laundry machines perfect for the tired and drained people with relatives in palliative are. So, yes: my father-in-law is on the palliative care wing and the staff there have been, almost without exception, incredibly kind and attentive. I realized that's part of what one should get in a hospice-type situation, but I appreciated that the staff at St. Peter's takes this to heart. My father-in-law's final days are clearly in good hands, and I am grateful for the facility.

They write off the elderly, give them very little care or support which I assume is due to their age and discharge them in a worse state than when they were admitted. Communication between team members is non existent, the left foot never knows what the right foot is doing. Nurses were visibly bothered when you asked for care or had questions and spend more time gossiping with co workers or scrolling their phone than working with patients, physio refused to work with him as he was hard of hearing and could not follow instructions - disaster all around. It is obvious that the hospital spends millions on marketing material in an effort to convince the general public they care, this money would be better spent on the patient. Avoid at all cost.

Welp! Not a good…read morereason to come here but I'm glad it was warm and cozy-ish. My mama just started her first round of chemo and it was here. The experience of being here, visiting and sitting with her and family throughout the chemo was overwhelming, shocking, mind blowing and then some for words. I don't know how to describe it! The good: volunteers! They knit hats! Bring coffee! Set up tables. A little pick me ups in not such a pick you up spot. The shocker was also how many people and their families are here for chemo. The lobby is kind of a drive up and extremely icy and slipper getting out of the car right now in the winter. They have a garage in the back and also street parking. Street parking is great if you find it right outside. Overall, it was much better than expected for the visit. Now let's hope all those chemo work wonders for everyone fighting hard for their lives.

The 2 men were very professional. Mask maker Dave was quite rude and said "maybe you are enjoying that steroid a little too much?" I was horrified by the comment but I couldn't talk because of the mask. Dave should have a little compassion for people who are sick/dying

They told me their were no reg. clerks in to register her over the phone even though we could have been there in 5mins. I did not want to take her to McMaster as we live right up the Mountain just off the link(Mud & Paramount) because there are kids/babies there with worse infections such as croup etc. and if I could keep her away from that with only an ear infection it would be safer and healthier for her. NOT very professional or health and safety oriented now are they? Health and Safety vs. 5-10mins late, I'm sure they could have made time. completely disgusted. In other words, "no take your baby to where she could contract worse things because an additional 5mins where people are most likely still being seen or have yet to be seen would take so much off of our time" SMH

The receptionist (Lily) has an unacceptable attitude and speaks to patients with complete lack of respect. The clinic is slow and disorganized to begin with, but adding a dismissive, rude and incompetent person as the face of your organization is truly a disgrace. We pay taxes so we can be talked to and treated with animosity. Try any other clinic than this!
