Having had multiple ultrasounds over 3 pregnancies, I can confidently say my experience here was top notch. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, kind and thorough. Even my husband who has basically been treated as second class at every other ultrasound said he left feeling like he was valued. I can't say enough for the staff and service at STL. Found this place from a flyer in my Doctor's office since they are in the same medical building. We…read morehave never done a 3D ultrasound before but we were slightly interested so we decided to look up this studio online and email them for more information. For the most part it seems like we were in contact with Michelle. The response via email was quick and efficient. We managed to book an appointment although we were well close to the tail end of the closing window for the best pictures. The studio did have to cancel our appointment. We did have to return to the studio a 2nd time. Unfortunately we did not get any photos of our baby. Some of the other reviews mentioned the studio gave a drink or chocolates to help boost the movement of the baby, but we were not offered that. Although each appointment is booked for a full hour, I never stayed the full hour. I am not really sure how they divide the time. I did find the ladies working there to be quite nice and mostly accommodating. I would recommend giving them a try id it's not out of the way. The studio is clean and modern and easy to find. The parking is a pain and the availability of times they have can sometimes be unaccommodating since you have to book fairly in advance and there are very limited evening appointments.

An online forum recommended 3D ultrasound places, as sometimes they will do a pregnancy confirmation for cheap. So I looked in Oakville and found Tiny Hearts. No information online about whether they did the service, so I figured I'd call. I called and the girl answered, "Tiny Hearts" in an annoyed voice. I asked her if they did any sort of pregnancy confirmations. To my complete shock and humiliation, she and another woman started LAUGHING at me. She replied in a snotty voice, "No, we're not a diagnostic centre, we're a 3D ULTRASOUND centre." At this point, I felt like a complete idiot. I said, "You don't have a service where you listen for a heartbeat?" She paused, sighed loudly and replied, annoyed, "How many weeks are you?" I stated that I was 5 weeks. Still in the same "you're so stupid" tone of voice, she said, "We don't even do heartbeats until 7 weeks. OK?" I said OK and she hung up. I've been dealing with infertility for five years now. This is the first time I've ever had something even remotely close to pregnancy symptoms, so you can imagine that I want to know for sure if there is any chance whatsoever that this pregnancy is real, that it's THERE and not just my imagination. To be treated like I was a moron for simply calling and asking if they provided this service...I was so crushed as I sat my phone down, I felt my eyes fill with tears. If I ever do get lucky enough to become pregnant, I won't have anything to with Tiny Hearts, and I don't recommend you do either. There are plenty of other 3D ultrasound businesses in the area that don't treat customers like the scum of the Earth. I'd check those ones out instead.

She was more preocupied in giving attitude the to actually listen to me and understanding what I was trying to say. This was over the course of 3 different phone calls and the last one I gave up and said that I would just go and find another doctor because I was getting nowhere with her. Lady, if you're reading this, please show more compassion and actively listen as opposed to focus on just "being right". Canada's health care is complex and inefficient as it is and doesn't need more help with that.
