This lifetime is so big and nice. It felt like a country club and I really enjoyed my experience here. I ended up doing a spin class - (I think with Trenice!) who was amazing. She had great energy and an even better playlist. Also, they had some unique machines- like this ab machine and zero gravity runner that I've never seen at other gyms. OMG also a full long course pool! crazy! The restrooms were clean and well stocked. My home lifetime is in Houston, but Mckinney at Craig Ranch was a very enjoyable and spacious experience during my weekend trip to Dallas. read more

This may be the best Lifetime location that I have ever been to. The workout areas are well lit and massive. We visited on a busy Saturday morning, yet it never felt crowded. The only two minor knocks I have about this location is the lack of indoor pickleball and the complete lack of basketball. Otherwise, the pool is amazing and having a long course pool is very impressive. I will be back every time I'm within 30 minutes of this place!! read more

They just put our membership up to 365 (this includes tax). We have been members for over a decade (first at another location) . Will someone tell me if this is what you are paying for just 2 people at the mckinney location and how long you have been members? I am just not seeing where the savings for long term members is... they claim there is a discount but I do NOT think it's true! As for the club, Jacuzzi is non-working, sauna is teeny tiny, nice and clean looking overall but towels are pretty gross. Pool is good for laps (50 meter) but you do have to contend with the kids taking up most of the lanes after school. I don't do the classes (Pilates is not included in the membership!) , machines are fine but the treadmills are often broken. The athletic facilities are well maintained and this gym boasts a pleasant area to work out in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a concerning incident with Martha who demonstrated unprofessional behavior during our recent visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our party (physically present) requested 1 paddle per player and had made court reservations in advance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Martha took it upon herself to restrict the number of paddles to our group (despite abundant availability). [[HIGHLIGHT]]She physically snatched the paddles away from us while another employee was checking them out to us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We clarified with the staff at that she did not follow Lifetime policy but went rogue enforcing her own personal rules rather than Lifetime rules. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Using your words instead of grabbing dates back to preschool. On all levels this is an unacceptable way to treat members (or humans in general).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Martha is a troubled individual and this behavior will be repeated and ruin the experience at this facility.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

This facility would be great if they could only get rid of the sewage smell. Every day all day, the entire gym smells of sewage. I'd also like to see Pilates offered for FREE. We pay for our MEMBERSHIP. That includes everything else so why is there such a charge for Pilates? Shame on you, Lifetime. I went to train as I do a few times a week, but this time, I brought my 9-year-old with me. I always see kids there on the side or even sometimes training with their parents. I scanned my membership and walked in, then [[HIGHLIGHT]]this guy named Brandon yelled at me, "Sir!" like I was at the airport or something. "How old is she? She can't come with you."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He didn't care when I told him I see it all the time. He was super arrogant, like I owed him something (he forgot I pay $250 a month for him to work there).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I told him, "Okay, just cancel my membership." He was like, "Okay, no problem, canceled," without any apologies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I just showed up at 6 AM with my daughter, and he was cold as ice--no smile, nothing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll sign up at another gym that actually cares about its customers instead of acting like they owe them something. read more

Incredible facility. If you reside in Craig Ranch it is without a doubt a no brainer to join. It is always clean, pristine and from the front desk to the squat rack you can tell the staff takes pride in this particular club. The concierge is wonderful in the mornings. Members are non pretentious, warm and just the same. It is a different feel than other locations I have been to. Check out the early morning heated yoga classes, 5:30 AM Alpha Strength with Christian, or relax at the recovery center for hydromassage and or compression boots after a strenuous workout. Replenish your body with a protein shake or healthy meal and order online from the app. They have outdoor run clubs during the week so marathoners in training can get their miles in, indoor walking track upstairs to get your steps in, immaculate fitness floor. Drop in for a fee or if you have an inside scoop join a buddy for a workout and use their guest pass. If you are not hurting for funds this is a wonderful investment to your fitness routine and most of all, your life. read more

LifeTime McKinney is the best gym EVER! The community is truly something else- you'll notice it's a special place the minute you walk in the doors. The facility is absolutely stunning and they have all the amenities you could dream of- such as a beautiful spa, 50 meter outdoor, HEATED, pool, yummy cafe, wonderful clean locker rooms and so much more. They offer so many different classes- all boutique style with amazing, engaging instructors. Highly recommend everyone to check this place out! read more

Do not play pickleball here. I guess they were trying to save space when converting the tennis courts to pickleball courts. There's either a wall or fence that is only a few feet away from the baseline of each court. Anyone could run into it and get seriously hurt. I'm leaving one star here because it looks like safety is not a priority for LifeTime. read more
