I joined Lifetime in October and I can't complement this place more. The membership is a little pricey, but the amenities and facilities sure make it worth it. The front staff is always friendly from beginning to end. For that matter, all the staff is really kind. Whether I'm doing a class or working out on my own, I always have a good time. The facility is spacious and although you may have to wait for a machine or what not (adhering to social distancing) it's okay because there is alway something you can find! I read some other reviews and I took down a star because if I am being honest some people are not good about wearing their mask and the staff isn't big on enforcing it. Also, as of recent I decided to end my member (personal reason) and the front staff was awesome. I got to choose my date to end which was very helpful. read more

We were quoted a price to add a family member then when we went to do it they tell us the primary membership has to go up as well. Great place to join. They are always upgrading equipment, keep it working and repaired. In addition to the gym areas they also have amazing indoor and outdoor tennis courts, b-ball, major swimming areas, the pool even has a bar. Lots for families, kids, and everyone else. The staff is super, my trainer, Brandon Baird is the best! Bit all of them are super. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out but I would recommend it! Be prepared though, it's not cheap!! read more

We've been to all the other gym chains locally and back in DC. Nothing compares to Life Time Fitness. The amenities are cleaned frequently. Everyone who works here is helpful. It feels like a resort tucked away behind GVR casino. Who doesn't love being able to swim, shower, and sauna before going home? They are serious about people not filming in locker rooms, which is a huge relief. Not trying to be some heifer in the background of a kid's tiktok (EōS fitness is really bad about that). The classes are great and some are even offered pretty late. The 7:15pm yoga class is a great way to unwind from the day. Yes, it is significantly more expensive than PF or EoS, but I honestly believe the quality of the gym experience here is worth it! read more

I didn't even make it through the front door. I wanted a day pass to check this gym out, I'm a 30 yr resident of Las Vegas. I was told through email correspondence that the day pass option was not offered at the Henderson Green Valley location, but that I had to make an appt to meet with an employee. And if I wanted to join i would have to sign up for a picket-ball lesson or a session with a personal trainer. What?! I just want to join this gym. No picket-ball lesson, no trainer session.I was then told there was a "waiting list" (this was end of 2023) and that once a spot opened up they would email me again. WTF?! No day pass. Can't join w/out taking a lesson I do NOT want or need? I've been working out for 30 years, I don't need to jump through hoops to join a gym that has more bad reviews than good. I noticed there's no more "waiting list" to join, pretentious marketing that failed big time. So thats it, I never made it through the front door and all I wanted to do was join this gym. read more

This GYM used to be such a cool place. For $300 a month, you'd expect that the facilities will be clean and in working condition. The people working there are disconnected and do not care about anything at all, just collecting a paycheck. This place is just a glorified EOS, dirty, outdated equipment, nasty NASTY!!! Showers, Sauna and Steam Rooms, really disgusting, for the ridiculous prices they charge now, this place should be spotless. They close for 6 hrs everyday, plenty of time to clean it, but they do not care. This is the perfect example of a corporate cash cow, mediocre establishment because there is no competition around, if a GYM like EQUINOX would open in the area, they would lose most of their customers, or be forced to charge $50 a month since that's really what's worth. read more

OK, so I have been avoiding the big box big gym with trainers and a lot of people. I have a lot of reasons too. Check out my reasons: 1. I like a smaller gym, more intimate. 2. I don't like trainers, I like to work out on my own. 3. I don't like all the big gyms with so many people. It's like a social thing. Well, my small little gym finally went out of business and so I went looking at several gyms. I decided to go ahead and check out Lifetime, which was the most expensive one as well. Why would anyone want to spend so much on a gym. Well, I was really impressed. It is really not for everyone, but I like the fact that if you want to create results, you can focus on that here. You can get assessments, personal training and really go for it. There are a lot of personal trainers and you can see that many people are using them. There are a lot of facilities here for yoga, pilates, basketball, swimming and so much more. There is no way to get bored here and no way to not exercise. I went ahead and did what I never wanted to do, and that was I signed up for some personal training. I realized that after 7 months at my last gym, I did not really know what results I was creating or changing and wasn't focused at all. I am not talking about any bulging muscles, but about body mass, body fat and endurance. I am gonna try this out for 60 days and really see what results I can make for my health. I have been hovering at the same weight for a very long time and same size as well. If I can make a real difference here, then it will be very well worth the cost. I am excited. The gym is great, the on boarding is great and for someone like me who doesn't like big gyms, I can tell you that so far, I am 180 degrees opposite! My mother has a senior citizen membership (after holding a full membership for over five years) and when she arrived TWO MINUTES before the restricted time today because she needed to used the ladies room before going to she class she was registered for the women at the front desk called the literal police for trespassing to have my mom handcuffed and forcibly removed from the group class area. Lifetime should be ashamed of themselves for abusing a kind older woman who has been a loyal customer. It's just disgusting and pathetic. read more

Over all the gym has what you need, is mostly clean and keeps up with making sure the machines and amenities are working. I convinced my employer to open up an account with lifetime for me a handful of other directors at work. I've been coming here for a few months now early in the mornings and there is plenty of space and equipment to get a good workout in. Something that interested me was the personal training - it took about a month to set something up with one of the trainers due to their schedule and my schedule not aligning. I ended up not being able to stop by the weekend we setup because I was feeling sick. I reached out to him to reschedule with no response. Spoke to the helpful blonde woman who works at the front desk in the mornings about it and she tried to put me touch with another trainer, days went by and she asked if he reached out and when I said "no" she didn't seem surprised. Services like these bother me - don't offer something that you don't have the ability fulfill. You'll have your core customer base who won't care if you follow through with things and those who expect their full options fulfilled. Similar issue happened with 2 of the other 4 people co workers. Unless your an avid swimmer or tennis player there are plenty of other options with more reasonable rates in the area. read more

On Friday, November 19, 2021, someone broke into my locker (women's locker room), opened my purse and wallet and stole two credit cards. Then went on a buying spree. When I called Lifetime to report the theft, an employee said that ANOTHER woman had her purse stolen--from her locker-- around the same time. I called the police department to file an incident report; the officer shared a story about how HIS colleague's Lifetime locker was opened and his badge, wallet, clothing etc. were stolen. I reached out to the general manager who has not yet responded to my phone call. With all the money spent on fake plants and fancy furniture, Lifetime has failed its primary obligation to maintain safety and security. I've not yet heard from the general manager, but am furious and want to share this information with as many members as possible. This club brands itself on "a fitness home away from home" but is really an overpriced gym with poor security. Members present and future--take note of this cautionary tale. read more

I am not a member of this gym which I think just goes to show you don't have to be to appreciate what they have to offer. Being new to the world of cycling and trying to ride as much as I can, I heard about their Sunday group ride through a fellow Yelper, Jennifer L. The ride started at 6 a.m. Per the instructions we got there early to sign waivers, listen to announcements and have our bikes ready to go. We rode with Rob Abraham as he was the leader for the newbies on this day. Rob is very passionate about cycling and his gym in general. After the ride he gave us a tour. I hear a lot of people say the membership is expensive but I think for what it has to offer it's a fair price. Everything is immaculate. I didn't see any out-of-order signs. They have all the newest equipment and a variety of classes. They offer heated yoga and reformer classes. In addition, the pool area has a cafe and a bar, I haven't seen a bar in a gym since the 90s! It really does have a country club feel to it. Even though I'm not a member I will continue to join their Sunday morning rides. They also have loaner bikes. They just ask that you contact them ahead of time. In addition to the bike club there is also a running group. read more

I really hated my experience here. I came to check out the gym with my one year old, and husband. We had heard it's a great way for the whole family to gets workout it, and as one worker explained it "it's a country club experience." When in reality it's just a big money grab. We had to pay almost 90 dollars to try it including the child coverage Minuses 1. Children's club: my child was hysterical and inconsolable when I came to get her. They refused to tell me what happened and stated "she has only been that way for a few minutes" anyone that's had a kid...knows there kid. I feel some scary or unsafe happened and they refused to own it. Manager not around to address it either. To make matters worse that had like 12 one year olds in a small section...both workers looked like they could care less. Very concerning. 2. Been a member for 5 years. My pricing was suppose to be locked in. For some reason this year it was no longer locked in when I added my kids for the summer. They continued to slowly increase my rate with no added benefits. Long wait times for weight equipment. The outside pool area seating is old and filthy. As nice as this place may look and seem, I can't come here without something going missing.. even when I keep it locked away in the locker. The other week I changed and put my clothes in my locker and there was nobody around. So there couldn't possibly have been anyone to see my code. But when I came back, ALL of my cash in my wallet was missing! I made a report with the employee who argued that it wasn't possible for it to have been an employee. I really liked this gym In the beginning. Later on I unfortunately noticed how unethical this place is. My husband wasn't using it as often so he decided to cancel his membership after about 5 months because it is not cheap. They make it as hard on you as possible to cancel. You have go give them a 30 day notice and write a hand written cancellation and mail it through the post office. The staff working there also never call. Another update..... I wish I could give this place zero stars. So I cancel the membership.... which like I said requires writing a notice, sending it through the post office.... etc. I nicely wrote how I would appreciate if they don't charge me for the last month since it was a hassle getting in contact with them and first thing they made sure of was to charge my card- super super super unethical. Lifetime has repeatedly ignored state mandates for masks, despite rising cases and despite being a health club (seems strange to promote health by not promoting health). They stated outright that they will not be enforcing the mandate and brag about how they are finding loopholes. This place is absolutely, positively the best. I've been a member here for about a year now and I still love it. Yes, it's expensive especially when you're paying for an entire family but for me it's worth it. The kids academy is great for kids when you're working out. They not only watch the kids but the kids are allowed to join in on classes they have like gymnastics, dance and arts and crafts. The pool is great. It's nice to relax on one of the many lounge chairs or seek shelter under one of the cabanas. They also have WTRX classes in the pool which is a great workout that is easier on your joints. The best thing here are the trainers hands down. Stacia is awesome. She is so helpful and friendly and has no problem helping when she can. She always has a positive attitude and is supportive in reaching your fitness goals. Brandon and his team burn class is also great. He gets you and the rest of the class running and lifting weights to help shed those pounds. As the saying goes, you get what pay for. This is a family gym. If you have kids and can afford it, it's a great place to take them. They have so many activities for the kids. If you take into account all the activities, you are actually saving time and money. Life Time is a one stop shop. They have everything you can possibly need in a gym. I love that they have a cafe too. When we are rushing and have no time, I use my app to order food and on our way out we just pick it up. I love love love this gym. From a young age I have had a gym membership since my mom used to be a personal trainer. I had been at 24 hour fitness up until a couple years ago when I couldn't handle anymore how downhill they had gone. Broken machines, lack of cleanliness, yoga rooms in the fitness areas that made you feel everything but relaxed. I went to a couple different yoga studio over the years as well, but I wanted one place where I could do everything I needed. Then I was brought as a guest to lifetime and I just could not set foot in another crappy gym. It's beauty and splendor hooked me, even though the high price tag gutted me a bit. It made me wish I worked for Wynn because they cover half of the 160 dollar membership. It used to be like 145 but they have slowly been rising it which sucks. One worker responded to my mom's concern about the price change as well by saying it keeps it more exclusive. .. Umm yeah we aren't your fancy lawyer and doctor clients, so basically it's us you are trying to exclude. I am massage therapist and this membership is a treat to myself that allows me to take care of my body, and before the tax laws changed I used to be able to write it off lol. It's a two story building the bottom floor has a spa, cafe, kids areas, Dr clinic, in door pool's, out door pool's with out door cafe and water slides, indoor and out door tennis courts. The indoor have an extra fee, the out door do not, and they loan you a racket and balls if you need it. The top floor has several rooms for classes, two basketball courts, a Pilates room with reformers which is an extra fee, a huge yoga room which like the Pilates doom is separated more from the work out area to allow for relaxation. Lots of cardio machines, free weights, weight machines, a large stretching area with various foam rollers, and a trx area. They also have special events with music and small bites throughout the year often included in membership, along with special classes they will have themes for... Often involving alcoholic and/or live music The pool is awesome until schools out... The biggest annoyance I have about lifetime other than the price is that parents use this place like a freaking play ground. So many children running around at the oasis like pool, without the adults that should be watching them disciplining them. It is ridiculous. One of the last times I was in the pool in the summer I'm trying to just enjoy the water, but don't feel like getting my hair wet, and these kids are wrestling and splashing right next to me. I turn around another child takes my towel from my lounger and starts running with it! My purse had been on it so it flew my purse in the air, and a bunch of stuff fell out. My friend yelled at the kid to stop... But was there a parent anywhere reprimanding them, or making them apologize? Nope. They have a revolving window of time when the kids have to leave the water. I wish there was an official schedule of kid free time I could look up and plan around, so I could try to go and relax without all that poor disruptive behavior. I also wish they made it clear they would kick kids out of the pool area if they were not following the rules and not being managed by their parents. Overall there is not really any competition for lifetime here in Las Vegas. You get top of the line everything, and this location is also laid out way better than the one one the West side. I would never pay the monthly fee for their other location, but luckily I live close to this one...even if I have wade through spoiled children on occasion. read more

By raising their rates and offering less. Then in the heart of the pandemic when people are hurting, lifetime adds credit card fees to make it harder on us. And the final straw, just as we are starting to come out of lockdown, lifetime adds a new fee to use the outside pool and amenities. No lifeguard in the morning and nobody told us anything. A bunch of people wAiting . Asked the front desk said the lifeguard was late. NO sorry ! Just asked if we wanted to wait till he comes. What kind of customer service and if they can't open at 5 am don't send out all emails telling open 5am. Do they need 2 people to work one shift or we need to depend on the lifeguard if we can swim!!!!on the way out asked the front desk girl any manger on duty she said she don't know!!!
