I've always walked the course when I've played here (as a guest) with a caddie, and the caddies are outstanding, and the pace of play is excellent. Playing from the white tees, our foursome made it around in about 4.5 hours, standard for an outing in a scamble format. The course itself is tree lined, and there is a little water out there, so some trouble if you hit a bad shot. Which, of course, we all do. The course was on the longish side, so you do need a good drive on par fours to hope to get on in two for birdie. Our group did a few times, and the greens were flat, but with very gentle breaks at the hole. Hit a few bomb putts, but we mostly played par golf in the scamble format. The outing was with a close friend at work, I believe, for his kids Jewish school. The food was fantastic post round, and the open bar was great as well. Not sure if this is open to the public, my guess it is not, private club, but if you are ever in Wayne NJ try and check it out. Fun course.

Dad loved his golf and was club champ a few times. If you can afford the membership, I highly recommend it. If I recall, it is a few hundred THOUSAND dollars for membership and monthly dues. There was a monthly required spend for F&B, so I hope you like to eat and drink. I highly suggest hole in one insurance just in case! Living now in Sarasota FL, there aren't any clubs of this caliber here. The east coast has better clubs. Therefore, I took up boating....LOL

The conditions are excellent and the greens rolled fast and are very tough. The driving range allows you to hit any club in your bag. I came for a small intimate wedding the other day for a family friend. Team bride. It's been years…read moresince I step foot here and I enjoyed the evening well. Ceremony was beautifully decorated. There was a water/lemonade station set up but it was abit too cold/windy for that. It got dark real fast mid-service and wished there was lighting available. Good thing the photographer had 1 light pole for pic to shine on the couple but other than that, it was cold and dark sitting there for the ceremony. Spacious and clean hall. Cocktail hour was also in the same space as dinner. I believe the ceremony started late and ran late; so the passed hors d'oeuvres was already available for us hungry guests. Trays of hors d'oeuvres and champagne greeted us when we stepped inside from the ceremony. Dinner was good and decent portion size. I believe the staff was short staffed as they weren't available to refill water glass and check on the table as much. They did a few initial check (before/and after meal) but not visibly seen as much. Overall, I enjoyed my evening here. Oh yeah, only noticed the next day that we never got the platter of cookies/brownies for the table at the end with our slice of wedding cake. Noticed it on the menu but none was given. Left 10min before party end and nada. Maybe they packaged it all up and gave it to the couple.
