Thursday at 7:00 pm - AGAIN - the parking lot is 100% full!!!  No parking, people driving in circles.  What a pain.  :-(
    Maxx M.

After almost 5 years, we're finally throwing in the towel, giving up, canceling our membership, and moving to the Anytime Fitness near our house. Our last day at the club is May 31st. Unfortunately, our main problems are things that the club can't do anything to fix. Basically, It's just too damn busy when we go there. (We can only workout around dinnertime because of our daughter's school schedule.) PARKING: It's almost always a pain parking between 4 and 7 during the week. This is worsened because the ice rink people frequently park in the club's lot. CROWDED: It's always a pain getting the equipment we need, especially earlier in the week. We do 2 body parts per day, 3 exercises for each body part and 3 sets for each exercise (for a total of 6 exercises and a total of 18 sets). We ALWAYS have to substitute 1, 2, or 3 exercises every workout because someone is on a machine or taking up a bench. In other words, many times, half of our workouts are messed up! RUDE MEMBERS: They have a big problem with members that leave and don't put weights away...or they walk away when they are still using a station. During busy times, you have to guess is someone is still using something. This is a prescription for conflicts. We've had a few. What a pain! I shouldn't have to guess if someone is still using something. OTHER BITCHES: The club used to be open 24 hours. Now they close at midnight. They used to keep the Family Locker room open til closing (midnight). Now they lock the changing rooms at 9:00 pm because there was some sort of incident that everyone is very cagey and secretive about. So... We're off to Anytime. It's a lot closer, it's never busy, we only have to walk a few feet to the door, and it's cheaper. We can also go to any Anytime Fitness location in the US and it doesn't cost us extra. -Daddy Maxx Retro P.S. We're going to miss some of the people we've met over the years. We've made a few friends. And the staff are all very nice and professional.

Great selection of equipment, never crowded and has a clean facility that I well staffed. It surpasses my expectations in terms of the LifeCafe and the chiropractic services offered. Most surprising of all, it's a Bronze Club. I like it much more than the Gold and Platinum level clubs that LifeTime has. The staff, though plentiful, seem a bit tired. The front desk people especially present as knowledgable, but not particularly happy to be there. The locker room is decent. The showers and the lockers are clean and plentiful. My only suggestion is that there ought to be more than a single place to discard the used towels in the locker room. There are also two tanning beds as well. They were dusty and probably not cleaned. Judging by the sanitizer bottle on a table nearby and the stack of paper towels, I assume that this would be the Member's responsibility to clean the tanning beds. Overall, this is a great club and I would be happy to recommend it to any of my friends and family.

I canceled immediately and have not seen my processed refund. I have called, emailed, and texted the business, by I have not received any word. This lack of communication can really hurt a business's reputation. I finally received the refund on Saturday after numerous attempts.

I have to say I really liked this yoga studio and absolutely loved the yoga instructor Charlene. A…read morewhile back in the midst of covid yelp would have questions up for establishments asking if they practice social distancing, covid protocols, stuff like that. Well I answered one of the questions and said no they don't follow social distancing or something like that b/c they didn't. I had been to other yoga studios in the area and they cut their class sizes in half to help distance people but yoga by blosstopia did not. Well I guess the owner, Lana, didn't like my response because she found my info in their database, since I attended classes there, and called me to discuss my "review" which wasn't even a review. It was just simply an answer to a question. I was very cautious during that time b/c I worked with people who were higher risk and couldn't afford to get covid myself so I always wore a mask when I was there which was fine. I don't expect other people to mask but it would have been nice if we weren't packed in there like sardines. (Side note - the floors are not padded at all, it's just concrete with peel and stick vinyl planks laid down so be sure to bring two yoga mats b/c it's hard on the knees.) She did ask if I'd like to zoom into the class if I wasn't comfortable and I told her that I was fine wearing a mask in class. I just thought it was important for people to know what they would be walking into before spending the money. She seemed very defensive and almost pissed that I told people the truth. I think the studio has changed owners since then and I hope to go back and see if things have changed for the better.

They have a nice entry way to leave your boots or shoes. They finally have a changing room and bathroom in the hallway not in the yoga studio. Awesome! YogaMN offers complimentary water, tea, or coffee. Their tea choices are fabulous! Cubby holes for your bags and a wall of hooks for your coats in the winter. There are two studios. The back one is for hot yoga and the front one is for their other classes. Intro to yoga, Barre, etc. I started out with their When Pigs Fly yoga. It was a wonderful relaxing stretching class for beginners. The perfect class after a day of sitting at a computer desk all day! Since it was on my birthday I could just bring a canned good for the class. Plus they had a great discounted deal for 5 classes for $50 that I had to take them up on. I hope to become a regular here. The receptionist and Yogi were both so warm and inviting. Remembering all of the regulars names and starting conversations with everyone. They even have additional classes about health, nutrition, communication and all sorts of rotating topics. This yoga spot is such a wonderful addition to Plymouth! I love it!

What a great little studio! I'm in the middle of my first free week (with a food shelf donation,…read morewhich is an absolutely fabulous idea!). So far I have done hot 60 and restorative yoga. Both very different but equally wonderful. The studio is in a strip mall, but once you enter the front doors it's like it's own kind of paradise. They offer free tea and water, there is plenty of cubby storage for your things, and everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The only downside is that the smaller room gets a little cramped when the class is full, but the instructors handle it in stride and makes jokes about not tickling each other's feet. I have felt a slight air of judgement a few times from others in the class, but that can't be held against the studio, and I try my best to ignore it since I'm only there for myself (they're probably just jealous of my amazing savasana skills!) This place really is a wonderful break from the world, and I'm so glad they offer the free week to try all of the classes out!
