I am currently a registered nurse who needed to renew my cpr. I really enjoyed taking my cpr class through lifesavers! I was able to choose online class through American heart association who gave me the information of this class that was five mins up from road to me. I was able to do just the skills session skills in person and class was small so I had plenty of time to ask questions and do my skills. I think the class was about hour not even ( depends on questions) I had a great instructor who was very educated in this course and answered all my questions and never seemed frustrated when I asked them. He also had a great sense of humor! I will be back in two years to renew again. The best part too is you get your card right at the end and don't have to wait weeks! This was my second time using this business to recert. Very professional and showed a high level of expertist. Often in my experience in CPR for healthcare providers the instructors different t want to "offend or insult" by saying things that we may already know so material is gone over fast or not at all. John did not assume or ask, he just told us what we needed. I loved that! just because you work in healthcare doesn't mean you do CPR often and the class is required for a reason. The course helped me to get comfortable in various medical situations. The instructor was very friendly and answered all questions. Loved the manicans and quick reference guides that were given with the student manual. I give 4 stars because I would have liked to practice using an AED and putting the pads on a manican. We turned on the trainer and then immediately turned it off. Also, I would have liked to practice tying and putting on a sling and splint. Overall, great course. read more

Very precise and concise skills and theory teaching. You can always ask questions for clarity. He ( Mark) recaps each skills and theory taught as he go along to reintorate learning, while he ask if there is anything you feel uncomfortable with in regards to theory and skills as an individual. This wasn't my first CPR & First Aid training class but it was the first that was so thorough! From removing gloves, to practicing injecting an Epi pen, I was very impressed and left there very comfortable with the hands on training I received.
