I already had a second job ( I'm a caretaker ) I would do my care taking job, cover a shift that a coworker upt and left and all the while still do my regular hours. Mike needed a guard for a hospital post and I told him that I'm already working so hard I can't do it. He pleads and tells me that he really needs be because he has no one. I agreed to it .. fell asleep on post and the next morning Mike sent me an email telling me that I am fired and that I like to sleep on the job and make free money. I worked my ass off even when no one else wanted too! He told me that whatever I do on my time I'm not working has nothing to do with him! Ever since then I will never accept a position from anyone ! Idc how much you bet and how much you plead ! As boss YOURRE supposed to handle your post if no one can show up! MIKE AND HIS SUPERVISOR would stay home ALLL NIGHT and never cover a shift if an employee didn't come .!I got fired but in all ACTUALITY HE COULDNT DO HIS JOB so as a man of his stature the best thing for him to do is blame it on someone else ! I cared when he pleaded how he didn't have no one ! He didn't give a rats assss that I worked my ass off and covering his shifts while doling my own shifts while having another job he didn't even say okay ____ thank you so much for all your help take a couple days off rest up and report to work. Especially since I DID NOTIFY him of my caretaking job and how I'm covering HIS OTHER EMPLOYERS SHIFT PLUS MY OWN I TOLD HIM .. he is an asshole .. He wanted to drop me because since the Stamford site that HE couldn't even keep as soon as it was done I doubt he even had any use for me. If you ask me I would never take a hospital shift especially over night ! MY ADVICE: If an employer begs you because they have " no one to cover the shift" THATS A THEM PROBLEM GET OFF OF YOUR ASS FOR THE NOGHT AND GO TO WORK INSTEAD OF BLAMING THE WORKERS FOR YOUR FUCKUP I will listen to my body my heart and my mind because these employers don't care about you !.. since I have GREAT security job .. I'm in the Union and my management actually cares.. ps this was my first ever security job .. I got my guard card through the actual owner BILL.. so for Mike to say that sleeping may work on other jobs and not his was a piece of shot response to say considering the fact that I NEVER SLEPT AT A SECURITY JOB SINCE EMEK WAS MY FIRST EVVER.. i try to stick with black owned security companies .. as much as i can

To validate a point made by another reviewer, it is indeed true that sensitive information about parents is discussed with other parents. I was personally told information about another parent by the Director, Madeline, which I found to be highly unprofessional. One particular incident that caused me significant concern was when I arrived to drop off my children and found the 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds sitting on the curb outside. As I drove up the driveway, the children were in close proximity to my car, creating a potentially dangerous situation. When I decided that the daycare's closure for a week and its shortened Friday summer hours conflicted with my work schedule, I provided a two-week notice for my two youngest children and informed the Director of the end date for my oldest, which was three weeks later. Following this, the situation deteriorated. A few days later, the Director informed me that she had contacted Care 4 Kids, received approval, and had already sent out certificates for my oldest to leave on the same date as my two youngest--essentially forcing my oldest out of the daycare because of our decision to leave. When I inquired why she had contacted Care 4 Kids and changed the date without consulting me, she did not provide a satisfactory answer and instead suggested discussing it later, which never happened as she was consistently unavailable. I then contacted Care 4 Kids and was informed that they had no record of her call, and my oldest child's end date in their system remained the date I had originally chosen. This raised concerns that she might have been attempting to collect funds for the weeks my child would no longer be attending. I am inclined to believe that this may have happened with other families as well. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this daycare, not because of the staff, but due to the actions of the Director. In my opinion, her daughter, who is much more professional, would be a better fit for the Director role. I will also be advising those I referred to this daycare to consider other options.
