The office is in a rather nondescript building in South Durham. I was a little bit surprised that the MRI machine is actually outside the main building in a trailer; they even lifted me up like I was on a loading dock. The staff were polite and the procedure went well, although I never got notification of my results (had to call my doctor's office and bug them).

She was able to answer all sorts of questions based on her 20+ years of experience in the field. They have gone above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience even offering a rescan once she turns to get a better view. They occasionally run a bit behind, but when you are in the room - you don't feel rushed and that makes it worth it. I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed. I forgot to mention - they are the only one that does Sonostream which was amazing! I was able to share with my friends and family live who are out of state.

I've gotten an ultrasound and ct scan on different dates. Both times I've come here, everyone was extremely kind & quick (not in a rushed way). From the front desk to the techs, they made me feel cared for and welcomed. My ultrasound tech (who i can't remember the name of unfortunately) was very kind, well spoken, patient, professional and caring. I felt very comfortable as a female patient getting a pretty uncomfortable ultrasound. My CT scan tech named Lisa was phenomenal. A day before the scan, she called me to go over everything about the steps, my history and made me feel so ready for the scan. She took her time with me on the phone and stayed on for what seemed like 30 minutes due to questions and history I had. not once did she make me feel rushed. only cared for and i felt understood. I basically felt like I was talking to a friend. She made me feel so much more at ease. When my appointment came, Lisa made me feel confident I was in great hands. She was also well spoken, smart, professional, compassionate, empathetic, everything you would want and more from someone in the medical field. I'm so grateful for her and will definitely always remember her as one of my favorite techs! (i've had a ton!) This place is lucky to have the employees I've encountered while being here. The front desk staff are friendly, check you in and get you seen quickly. The technicians are all experts at getting your scans done as quickly as possible, are very professional and ask if you're all right throughout the process. While it can be an uncomfortable procedure, their expertise makes the process go smoothly and it's over before you know it. Since Covid, I've appreciated being able to check-in online at home, being able to wait in car until tech is ready and getting into the procedure within minutes.

I called several days ahead to make sure I knew what the out of pocket charges were. I asked for insurance out of pocket charge vs. self pay. On the MRI it was cheaper to do the self pay. They had that amount right. On the Cat scan, they wanted $900 hundred upfront when I was told $270 by their insurance dept. I had to wait forever for them to try to figure this out which they didn't. The front desk lady was awesome. They took me to the back and did the MRI, the tech was awesome. Sent me to a little room where the office manager came in saying the $900 was right. We went round and round, she was a complete jerk. They were wrong not me and she would not take responsibility for their billing/insurance offices mistake. She told me that I would only have to pay the $270 that day and they would bill me the rest. Which was still totally wrong on their part. I had whom I spoke with name written down at home and called back the next morning and gave it to them. The lady that does the Cat scans was awesome, did my scan and told me that I didn't need to check out to have a good day. I go through the lobby and get called by the same lady that was helping me. I go over and she said what are you going to pay today. I said I can pay what I want, then I will pay $200. I swipped my card and went on my way. Today I pull up my checking and they had charged me $270 plus $200. I called back up there and she told me I swipped my card twice (this dumb office manager) and I owe them the remaining balance. I am waiting for my bank to call back now. If they had already charged me the $270 why was I stopped on the way out and asked to pay more that day? I was told I only had to pay the $270 because I had already self paid $1275 for the MRI and now $275 for the Cat scan, so now they got an extra $200 which I didn't ever have. These people are a bunch of crooks. I will never go back there again and would highly recommend that you don't use them either. That office manager said that the supervisor in the insurance dept said that I had discussed a Cat scan that I got years ago with the insurance lady which we did not. She said it was a recorded call, I told her we certainly did not and that she needed to get that call and listen to it. She explained everything to me ahead of time & was very gentle and genuinely caring. I could have easily stressed myself out over the situation, but she was there to guide and calm me along the way. I would recommend this office just from the experience I had with her & the CT scan lady (I forgot her name). When you're going through the most stressful things in life, you need people like them to calm you & make that situation seem like it's super small. There is plenty of parking & I was in and out in no time.

I did not cancel the appointment or receive a cancellation notice so I could have corrected the situation. It appears a scheduler cancelled the appointment back in November. I wish they'd go back to scheduling in the office again and not using the central appointment scheduling. But they need to do something so random employees cannot cancel patient appointments. As it was not busy, the office was able to fit me in. But the whole situation caused unneeded stress.
