Most memorable among them was when I visited her during a worrisome miracle pregnancy. Miracle because I wanted a child but didn't cycle regularly... worrisome because the conception and therefore due date could not be determined. My midwife was panicking, and pushing me to be induced, encouraging anything, "even accupuncture" to start labor. (That's not how things work, Michelle.) Anyway, Brandy's care at that time was very soothing, calming and reassuring. Amid an oasis of fear, she gave me peace. I left there feeling like my baby was okay, I was okay, and everything would be fine. Nothing was amiss with my meridians. Nothing was really wrong at all, except my freaking-out midwife. I did end up getting induced because my midwife said she'd quit, otherwise. I didn't know anybody else, was new to the area, and didn't think at the time to just FIRE her butt and find another care provider. And do you know what? Turns out Brandy was right. The baby had been just fine. The attending physician at the birth observed at her initial evaluation - spoken loudly and slowly so that my midwife could understand, I suppose - that our baby could have stayed in the womb another two weeks or so.

My friend and I went in to Rose's Kalispell boutique for readings on separate occasions. I went…read morefirst with my son because my son and I have gifts and I had a lot of questions. I paid $25 and she gave me a 10 minute "palm reading" (if that's what you want to call it). She didn't touch on any of my lines or go in to depth about anything. Ten minutes zoomed by and I was barely given a chance to talk- anytime I had a question she'd interrupt me with things that could be relevant and generic to anyone's lives and also told me things that didn't even match up with mine. I went in with a very open mind because I'm that type of person. My friend and I aren't new to this type of work because we do it ourselves and have our own gifts so I just new she was feeding me a bunch of bullshit. I left super unhappy and more confused than when I went in but was still hopeful.... until my friend went in. 1-2 months later... I drive my friend to Rose's Boutique in Kalispell so she could have a reading. We get to the door n knock, Rose came to the door and my friend asked for the reading. Rose looked at me, my friend and my friends little sister and got annoyed. She said me and my friends little sister couldn't be there because this was her home/business (understandable) and told her to come back. My friend went back and Rose yelled out the door and said it will only take 10 minutes (before I was told that it can take anywhere from 10-60 minutes and it just depends on what's coming through to her for my friend). Also mind you, Rose didn't even know what my friend wanted from her or what kind of reading she wanted. So My friend goes in for a quick 10 minutes. The more we talk the more we find out that Rose told her almost EXACTLY what she told me. My friend said Rose was very pushy and she too felt rushed and wasn't able to relax or ask her any questions. Super annoyed that I wasted 25$ at this shop but also glad that atleast now I know to never go back.
