I used to be a frequent shopper here when I had to wear suits daily and traveled to the burg often. They still carry the top quality brands such as Barbour, Burberry, Duck Head and others, even the salesman is a legend having worked at the shop since the 1980's. I was looking for some trousers and recalled they carried Bill's Kakis. I tried on a pair that was from the same manufacturer. A 36/34 was a perfect fit on the waist, but needed the length taken in. They still offer free in-house tailoring services. The no pressure sales makes purchases easy. The gentlemen working the shop no the business inside and out. Due to the fact everything they carry is quality materials with exceptional services they are pricey. In my opinion worth the price point. It's literally impossible to find these shops. They will mail your alterations for a fee, or you need to do in store pick up. Turn around is typically within the same week. However, if a rush is needed let them know. Fantastic shop and great memories.

I think I was only one or perhaps one other in the store--was ignored by entire staff (amusing since pants and shirt I was wearing were purchased there). finally as I walked out heard a "have a nice day" from lady at the register station.

(I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel for a "review" to come back to this place.)…read more Sadly, the song remains the same here at Revolutions. If you come to the CW Visitors Center more than likely you're walking in the main entrance door from the parking lot and this place is what you first encounter. Overall the store (it's not really one store as it's more like two or three depending on how you want to count things but technically Revolutions is the one on the left side when you walk in) is indeed massive. Lots of stuff everywhere. On the left side it's a lot of things like stuffed animals (anyone for a stuffed walrus in a CW shirt?), wine/beer, some snacks, lots of CW branded clothing along with a ton of reproduction items and a lot of Chinese plastic junk. The right side is technically the bookstore and it's loaded down with a mountain of titles but also has a Christmas section and even sells things like bird feeders. The two overriding issues are that you can still find too many things here the same as you can find at the shops on DOG Street. While that might sour you the other kicker is of course the pricing. The pricing is very much theme park-esque in terms of how whack some of this stuff can be particularly the apparel sections. The t-shirts and sweat shirts are priced in a way that could make Bob Iger at Disney blush. Speaking prior about bird feeders. The one things CW had a bit more of last time was a clearance section on the book store side. Small as it was for whatever reason the lovely wife insisted upon picking up a double bird feeder for her mother for Christmas which at the time was seven months away. Le Sigh... While I wanted to protest a quick check of The Interwebs said that the thing usually retails for well over a hundred dollars and with the clearance pricing that day it could be ours for around fifty bucks (Oh, Boy - Spoil Me!). So we bought it. It was the first thing we had ever bought at Revolutions in probably a dozen visits. Great place to shop if you're one of those people who likes "stuff" or if you've got more money than God to piss away on BS that likely you'll never use but personally I don't see the appeal which is why we usually just cut thru the Visitors Center and then go right out the back door to hit the trail to the Historic Area.

I've been to the Campus Store over the years, but last time was early eight years or more. The building adjacent to Merchants Square is owned by Colonial Williamsburg. The second floor is now vacant, so they have eliminated the book aspect of the store. Supposedly CW will do something with the space, but it's been empty five years ago. Parking is nearby by surface l, or garage at a fee My wife and I browsed and e joyed the displays and merchandise. Ultimately we only made a single purchase. Check out was friendly. This is where the Tribe fans go to buy merchandise.

This is where you bought your t-shirts, your pennants, your car decals, etc. They have a vast supply of everything W&M. They also have a vast supply of fraternity and sorority stuff, so this is also where sisters bought their Kappa Delta flip-flops and Chi Omega shoelaces. Not so sure what the frat guys were buying...Lambda Chi shot glasses? Kappa Sigma beer mugs? I never joined up, so it's all Greek to me. Get it? All GREEK to me. Wacca wacca. Campus Shop has apparel for every W&M team imaginable, from soccer to gymnastics. They do those promotions where you can get a W&M cap and t-shirt -- preselected with no substitutions, of course -- for under twenty bucks. You can get a diploma frame with the Wren Building. W&M jewelry. Keychains. Even some Colonial Williamsburg memorabilia. Prices are more reasonable over here than at the bookstore, so it's a good spot to pick up your souvenirs or a "W&M Dad" sweatshirt for your father. Don't laugh -- pops loves his.

Sometimes in the past, they've limited the amount of people in the store and personally I really like that because it changes my shopping experience. I don't get easily agitated. The staff is pretty helpful and they move quite quick in the checkout line. Big bonus is that they are always willing to help and try and find a deal for you. Big bonus to the military discount. Really no problems other than the amount of times I'm asked if I am part of the Nike app. We were really knocked out of the park for our kids shoes here especially my teenage son . When you combined any deals off of their clearance and add military discount, we really get a good value.
