The best thing about this place is the best sushi place in Morristown, K.C. Sushi - great rolls at a good price, always fresh, highly highly recommended. I walked past 15 times before trying a roll, and now I get dinner there once a week. As a sushi fanatic, I love having it in my backyard and you should too. Back to the produce stand . . decent food options but somewhat overpriced - go there for fresh produce and lots of it. If you want to spend $10/lb for portabello mushrooms, go to King's. For $3.49/lb, go here. Your call.

But it ain't a farmer's market, and it ain't a sushi place either. As of July 2013 the in-store sushi counter is definitely closed so all those glowing reviews of take-out rolls ain't much help anymore. The produce includes a broad selection of fruits and veggies especially ethnic specialties like yucca and chilies. Outside they sell plants and inside they sell cut flowers. The medium-size fresh-fish counter has whole and cut finfish, scallops and a few clams And there's all sorts of North and Latin American groceries too, stacked high and packed in tightly. Also lots of gourmet jams and jellies, go figure. Here you'll find lots of supplies for central and south American cooking. This store is where I finally I found maseca, the dried flour used to make tortillas and tamales. I also like the huge selection of pre-boxed snack foods, so difficult to resist!

Excellent Whole Foods…read more 1) The hot food section is great. They have ethnic options from Chinese to Indian and regular Americans items as well. I only wish they had a weight next to the hot food section to check how much food consumers got before we go to the check out. 2) They have an Amazon return section as well. Making Amazon returns very convenient. 3) I also enjoy the sugar free chocolate options they carry.

When they ring us up, they have always defaulted to organic, even when it's not organic. One employee stated he didn't even know that they carried non-organic items. Also, today, they charged us for large avocados, even though they were puny. We had to go back. Then they messed up the refund, and didn't give us the Prime discount. So they had to ring it again. The deli had a young man working there that used to be the only one who would follow our instructions on how we wanted our deli meat. Now, we get people who shave the meat a bit and then proceed to do whatever they want, even when it's not busy. During the period of COVID where masks were mandated. I witnessed multiple employees stocking shelves with their masks worn as gags. The meat department people are fantastic. They always do a great job. They answer questions and let you choose whatever piece you want. I want to suggest making the meat Manager the store manager. I'm giving this 2 stars because the meat department deserves 5 stars for service. And also because my parents didn't have grocery stores like this in their country, so I suppose I should be grateful. But my heart still tells me ZERO stars when it comes time to think about them ringing up my items.

PROS: - central downtown walkable Morristown area location…read more- friendly knowledgeable staff (Janet is great!) - unique selections - lots of tasty vegan cheese options!!! - have other non-gluten and some dairy items CONS: - can be hard to find (in the back of South Street), entrance on the corner in the back - $$$ things add up really fast, but it's really high quality stuff mostly made locally in small batches, so you get what you pay for - more like a small boutique shop - not many ready to eat/to-go food options This place is great! I have been recently feeling some gluten sensitivity and I am lactose intolerant, so was really looking for new vegan and gluten free places around town to stock up on diff gluten and vegan fares. Stumbled upon this place and it has some great alternatives you won't find in other stores. First off the place is kind of hard to find bc it doesn't have an entrance/store-front on the main Street (South St.). The entrance is in the back of the side street on the closest corner and the store is tucked away into the very corner edge spot in the back. The store is not that large, but they have a great selection of gluten-free pastas, chips, cookies/crackers, tasty frozen vegan chicken, etc. they have a wonderful vegan cheese assortment with some of the best tasting vegan cheeses I've ever tried! They also have fresh pastries (both gluten & non-gluten and dairy & non dairy) made daily. I will definitely be coming back here regularly!
