I've used ShopRite Online for years, but my 5/30/26 pickup changed that. The Shady Brook Farms…read moreturkey sausage I received was swollen, tight, full of condensation, and had tiny bubbles between the sausages. This is a serious food‑safety concern. When I went inside to compare, the same product (same dates) looked completely different -- cold, tight packaging, no swelling. Even customer service said mine "looked like it was going to pop." This isn't the first issue. I previously received a moldy onion in an online order, and my son has mentioned that cold items often didn't feel cold during past pickups. Now I've seen it myself. I exchanged the item, but I shouldn't have had to make a second trip. From now on, I'll only use ShopRite Online for non‑perishables and buy all meats and produce in person. The photos I'm posting tell the story. Many customers may have had good experiences with ShopRite Online, but this is my personal experience, and it was unacceptable. UPDATE FROM SHOPRITE 6/4/26 Customer Care responded quickly to my concern about the Shady Brook Farms turkey sausage. They apologized, shared my feedback with store leadership, and added a $6 credit to my loyalty account. I appreciate the prompt resolution.

Back to the produce stand . . decent food options but somewhat overpriced - go there for fresh produce and lots of it. If you want to spend $10/lb for portabello mushrooms, go to King's. One time I was hoping to buy flowers for my girlfriend after she got back from a long business trip. It was 5 minutes after their closing time and they weren't letting customers in - however, I asked them really nicely and they let me in to buy flowers. Mad love. Well priced flowers. Accepts credit card purchases over $10. I left my wallet at the sushi guy's station, and he called me. All of my money and cards were in tact when I came back to get it. Great guy.

The scallions were there, but that was the poorest quality bundle I've seen for $1.29. For a supposedly "cheap" store, the prices weren't much different than Shoprite across the street, with less selection. No one at the registers, they were restocking shelves, so just processed through the self-checkout for my purchase.

When they ring us up, they have always defaulted to organic, even when it's not organic. One employee stated he didn't even know that they carried non-organic items. The deli had a young man working there that used to be the only one who would follow our instructions on how we wanted our deli meat. They answer questions and let you choose whatever piece you want. I want to suggest making the meat Manager the store manager. I'm giving this 2 stars because the meat department deserves 5 stars for service. And also because my parents didn't have grocery stores like this in their country, so I suppose I should be grateful. But my heart still tells me ZERO stars when it comes time to think about them ringing up my items.

I have been recently feeling some gluten sensitivity and I am lactose intolerant, so was really looking for new vegan and gluten free places around town to stock up on diff gluten and vegan fares. Stumbled upon this place and it has some great alternatives you won't find in other stores. First off the place is kind of hard to find bc it doesn't have an entrance/store-front on the main Street (South St.). The entrance is in the back of the side street on the closest corner and the store is tucked away into the very corner edge spot in the back. The store is not that large, but they have a great selection of gluten-free pastas, chips, cookies/crackers, tasty frozen vegan chicken, etc. they have a wonderful vegan cheese assortment with some of the best tasting vegan cheeses I've ever tried! They also have fresh pastries (both gluten & non-gluten and dairy & non dairy) made daily. I will definitely be coming back here regularly!
