One year ago today, I was the "patient of the day." I remember feeling anxious and full of…read morequestions, but the moment Dr. Fechner walked into the surgery room, all of that disappeared. From my very first meeting with Lisa, to getting to know the nurses and staff, my entire journey was truly amazing. I hadn't realized how many dynamics go into having a facelift, but the team took the time to educate me beforehand and stayed by my side every step of the way afterward. Everything--from billing to scheduling to communication--was handled seamlessly. Of course, the star of the show was Dr. Fechner. While he is undoubtedly a skilled surgeon, I also believe he is an artist. I am beyond pleased with my results and would highly recommend him for anyone considering plastic surgery. I can still remember, a year ago, wishing it were already a year later--and now here I am, grateful, healed, and so happy with my decision.

All those things happened but they are not the fault of Dr. Perryman. I firmly believe the experience I had was due to staff issues and not him. I have never had a doctor reach out to me like that. I had been under the mistaken opinion that HE wouldn't allow me to cancel my order because the receptionist put me on hold for a long time and I thought she might be consulting him. That's why you shouldn't assume. Dr. Perryman is an excellent eye doctor. I was impressed by his people skills and the way he made sure I got the contacts that were right for me. I apologize to Dr. Perryman for my first review. He promised me he would work with his staff (I can't help but wonder if they get a % of money sold on contacts) to correct their practices. I have no doubt that he will. If I could delete the other review, I would.

I've found that most doctors lately rush through appointments and base their treatments on what is covered by insurance. Dr. Perryman took the time to explain my unique situation in terms I understood. He also is very kind and seemed interested in getting to know me personally. The experience reminded me of the small town doctors of the past. The office staff is super friendly and the space is comfortable. They even have free drinks and snacks which is nice. On top of that, he didn't try to hard sell me on purchasing glasses at the office but did explain that what they offer is high quality. I'm grateful to have this practice in town.
