Music itself a universal language. Very nice ambience. since its a spanish club so its certainly true to find hispanic crowd. I had a feeling soon i entered into club cuz you should not come alone ..:P I've tried to interact with some people but didn't work out...;) . drinks are a little bit expensive compare to other clubs.

Since I have been in North Carolina I have only stepped into one nightclub prior to this one and I…read moremust say I was skeptical. Only because I am used to an overindulgence in party scenes. I met with the owner upon a business proposal to work with the nightclub in promotions for my day job. He was very nice and inviting on the ideas we had for him, in which he accepted. (Woo!) Because I am hispanic and this is a spanish club I felt comfortable in the scene and was excited to see what this place was about. It is quite big for what I expected from the outside and it got filled rather quickly after a certain time which impressed me considering how big it was. What didn't play in favor is you had to either carry cash or go to the ATM while your drink began to water down. (should've ordered my whiskey neat) The place is going to have small changes which will probably give them a little more rank. They have big performances and the radio stations broadcasting which gains a few brownie points for me. Easy going place with intentions of a good time. They play a little bit of everything but mostly mexican bachata?

The Don Julio tasted extremely watered down, my wife and her friends said the same thing. Has anyone else experienced this? Seems very shady to me, that ruined the experience for me, the money you pay for the bottle is insane and then it's watered down? It just makes me wonder if anyone is tampering with the liquor, & it's very concerning.

The music was very inviting but as my sister and I started to pass by due to the whole club vibes - an employee suggested we come inside and check it out. No admission fee. A nice and clean space. I'm not a fan of dance clubs, so totally out of my usual spaces but for what Alive is, I would highly recommend the space for dancers who would like to go out for a night of dancing. The restrooms smelled very good and were very clean with cute decor. Alive is highly recommended for your place to go dancing. The bar service is quick. We didn't have to fight for a drink!

The most interesting thing about it is how roomy it is. The pictures do better justice than the words. There's a stage area in one room and the bar in another. Both are pretty big, in my opinion. Not much seating at the bar, but the stage has lots of seats, with loveseats and sofas lining the walls. Both bartenders were halfway nice. You know how female bartenders get when they've just had enough of guys hitting on them? They had those faces. Both when it became obvious that I'm just being a nice guy, they seemed to warm up a bit. That happens sometimes. From what I remember, anyway. First bar I've been to in eons... They had a dude there catering the food. It was average fare of pasta, chicken wings, ribs, mixed veggies. That sort of thing. Cash only. I don't do bars so I'll probably never come here again. But it was a good time. Call them up for some local comedy event info. $25 got me in and I enjoyed the shows.
