I called William at Freedom Auto Repair in Liberty and he took charge doing free diagnostic and fixing it the next day. I am sure glad I went and found this shop. This is now my go to Auto Center for all my automotive needs. William is smart, fast and honest, everything I have looked for but been unable to find in a mechanic. He is a good mechanic that will do the work right in front of you while you watch and will show you parts he has replaced so you know he really replaced the part instead of saying he did when he didn't like many mechanics will do. He will tell you what is wrong without inflating the problem to sound worse and will not tell you you need repairs you don't need. I urge you to try William at Freedom Auto Repair if you ever need your vehicle repaired. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend Freedom Auto Repair and give them an A+ rating. In October the transmssion failed. Took it to a transmission shop in New York, told them about the warranty. They called company on the warranty notice but there was no warranty on my transmission. The company had no record of Taylor's Garage purchasing a remanufactured transmission from them for my vehicle. New York mechanic said there was no ID sticker on the transmission which there should be. Taylor's employee told them that it must have fallen off. New York mechanic said they do not usually fall off and said he believed the transmission was rebuilt by Taylor's and that they did not purchase a remanufactured one with a warranty. I was given a Powertorque warranty page that said it was a national warranty but Taylor's said I had to bring it to their shop to have it fixed. I live in Connecticut and it failed in New york. In the process of taking action against them now to recoup the $4,600 I paid them. Employees were nice enough but terrible with communication and ultimately the owner charged me a higher cost for a remanufacured transmission with a warranty but installed a rebuilt one with no warranty that failed five months later.
