This was a pretty good watch repair kiosk located across from the pentagon city mall. I needed batteries replaced in about 4 different watches which I thought would end up costing a fortune given the location. The owner did them on the spot, quick and efficient, it probably took her about 15 mins to replace all 4 with the total being a reasonable $56. Liberty Time is a true hidden gem in South Arlington for watch repair and service. It is a simple and modest kiosk located the center of Pentagon Center Mall between Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack. Inexpensive watches hang on the outside of the kiosk and key cutting services are available at moderate prices. BUT, don't mistake the modest setting for inferior workmanship. The true magic is the service and craftsmanship of the owner - Eric. Eric took over as the new owner in 2020. Best place I've found nearby to get links removed from watch. Only cost $8; other places nearby were quoting me $12 to 25 bucks for the same exact service (for example, the Fast-Fix watch repair place in Pentagon City mall wanted to charge $25)! Liberty Time is actually a kiosk right outside of the indoor Best Buy entrance across the street from the Pentagon City mall. Got the links removed and watch properly fitted in less than 5 minutes. They also do other forms of watch repair - I'm sure the cost for those services are reasonable as well. There is a credit card minimum of $10 if you want to avoid a .50 cent transaction fee. But I'll give this place 5 stars for simple fact that they had cheapest rate I've found in the area on a fairly simple service that shouldn't cost more than $10 (otherwise you're getting ripped off)... they also performed that service well and within just a few minutes. read more

They are amazing!! I was running late (Saturday, 8 October, 2022) they close at 5pm. I called and they agreed to wait for me, OMG who would do that? I had 4 watches that needed to have links removed from the bracelets, (screws not pins more difficult)these are high dollar$$$ watches, not junk. They treated me and the watches with care and very respectfully. The watch Tech (a lady) wore a mask and fresh gloves so as not to leave any prints on the watches). She did an amazing and perfect job, taking what ever time required to do the job properly and not rushing as it was already 5:38pm. All watches were properly and respectfully completed and they only charge $10 per watch. this is the place to go, a local jeweler charges $25 for the exact same service. These folks are honest, hard working, respectful of you and your property and super fair on prices, highly recommended!! read more

Liberty Time is a little kiosk/stand in the middle of the Pentagon Centre. It offers a couple of services -- including making keys and replacing watch batteries. The work is fine. The prices so-so. But the real problem is that the customer service is HORRIBLE. And I do mean HORRIBLE! It's welllllllll past "borderline" rude. I've been here on two occasions and had experiences with two different workers (first a man, then a woman) on two different days. But they were both the same. Both barely spoke to me (as if it pained them to answer questions about their services). Both refused to make eye contact (but in a rude "you're-not-worth-my-time" kind of way, not in a culturally deferring "Asian" way -- I can tell the difference). Both acted as if they were doing me a favor by taking my money while treating me like a second-class citizen. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the second time I recognized the pattern and left emptyhanded. Like the old folks say, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!" Until this place gets its act together, Liberty Time is in timeout! read more

Liberty Time is a modest, no frills kiosk selling Casio, Timex, and Armitron watches at very reasonable prices; as well as services such as watch battery replacement, band adjustment, and key making services. I recently commissioned Liberty Time to replace a battery and remove a link from my Fossil watch. The technician was short and to the point, but did not come off as rude or unwilling. She replaced my battery and removed a link in under 4 minutes! I am unsure if their replacement methods will maintain the manufacturer's water resistance rating, but I don't plan on scuba diving with my watch any time soon! Tip: There is a $15 minimum for credit cards and it only costs $10 to replace the battery! The bottom line: Would I bring my Omega here? Likely not. Will I come see her again for all my other watches? You betcha! read more

This place is a kiosk outside the Best Buy and it is a great deal - especially as compared to the watch repair place across the street in the Pentagon City mall that charges TRIPLE for many of the same services. A few months ago I went to the Fast-Fix place in the Pentagon City mall and they charged me something like $25 or $30 to take a few links out of my watch band. Yesterday I found Liberty Time to have the same thing done to another watch and they charged me exactly $8. I couldn't be happier. I take my watches for battery replacement here every time, since I work right across the street. He's very fast and he'll replace your battery while you wait, usually in just a few minutes. Today, I thought I needed a new battery but he tested it, and it tested good. I thought my favorite watch had finally given up the ghost. But, he gave it a good cleaning and lo and behold - it works! He put it all back together again and didn't charge me a dime! THAT'S great customer service! read more

I had the exact same experience with not one watch, but two watches. I would highly recommend going elsewhere to have your watch batteries changed. I took my boyfriend's watch to get a battery replaced here - and to give them credit, they are relatively inexpensive and quick. I then brought my own watch in to get the battery changed a few days later. I soon noticed that my watch was keeping bad time, and my boyfriend said his watch was also keeping bad time. I brought them in to be fixed, but the employee said there was nothing they could do. I brought them to a jeweler who told me I would have to pay for them to repair the watches. Now we're stuck with two watches that don't work properly. Don't let this be you. Go elsewhere. read more

After being quoted $89 for a watch battery replacement at Fast-Fix in PC Mall, I checked out Liberty Time. Super fast, friendly service and $12 to replace the battery for my Tissot watch. He even checked the old battery, which was working intermittently before he changed it. Worth walking across the street for sure. read more
