This is the 7th year that I have had my taxes done at H&R Block on Golden State. This will be the…read morelast year. Leticia Hagood clearly took advantage of an elderly couple. We were late on getting our taxes done because I just got out of the hospital on Monday. The second time I had to go to the hospital in 3 weeks. Taxes were due on Wednesday so I drug my oxygen tank behind me and went to get my taxes done. This usually costs $149. I was in for a shock. I am an Amazon View Reviewer so of course I expected to pay between 10% to 15% for the items that I reviewed. I did not expect to have to pay $649 for tax preparation and another 15% small business tax. Since when is a little old lady writing reviews as a hobby a small business? Of course being April 15th and down to the wire plus just getting out of the hospital, I did not have the time or the strength to argue. Come to find out, my Amazon Vine Items should have been listed as a hobby and therefore not subject to the $649 business tax preparation fee and the 15% small business tax. Obviously, Leticia Hagood was clearly interested in making the most money possible for her firm and not interested in helping us in any way. She just kept saying I bet you won't do this next year. She's right. I will never have my taxes done by H&R Block again. I will go to my daughter's accountant who knows what a business is and what is not. My advice to fellow viners is to avoid H&R Block at all costs!

When I talked to them about how I was interested in putting in 150 a month possibly, they lied and said there was a minimum. I know this because I looked at their chart, and they even had the audacity to say it would cost 10-20k dollars to start, when investing is not around there at ALL. They then requested I leave and were just rude in general about everything. I do not recommend going here, please find somewhere else to talk to someone about your financial statements.
