On 3/15/23 we reached out to see what the status was. His office responded 2 days later saying our returns would be done on or before the next Fri., 3/24. On 3/25 we emailed, again, stating that Fri had come and gone and we had still not heard anything from his office & if our returns were in fact still not done to simply shred anything they had of ours. Mon, 3/27/23 still no response so we sent a final email stating their silence was confirmation the work was not done and to shred our docs. This was almost SIX weeks after receiving our paperwork. I reached out to our daughter's CPA and had our returns complete and filed within 3 days. The lack of any communication at all on their part is inexcusable and extremely unprofessional. If he can't prepare a return in 6 weeks, he needs to lighten his client base and also needs a course on professional etiquette.
