We were greeted with the utmost respect from the second we called, to pulling into the parking lot, getting help onto the river, and getting off. It was one of the prettiest parts of the river that we have seen, very wide open. Pulling into the campground from the river, allowed us to experience their adorable establishment. I truly can't wait to go back and camp next time. I won't say any names but we tried the same experience the day before at a close establishment. It was horrible, a long walk with no help, cash only, and a $80.00 cash deposit. The owner was very disrespectful also.

He also came back later to see if we needed any additional help. The female owner was also every helpful explaining the rules and overall park. She was very attentive to each campers needs. I witnessed her rushing to the beach to comfort a small child who was crying. The park is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed nature paths and views. The only downfall was only 1 bathhouse which was a good walk from our camp site.

They have a transportation company that takes you to the launching spot. All of the people we had to deal with from the time we made our reservations till getting on and off the river were great. Get there today sign up pay everything and had another pleasant conversation with another female worker. We mention we have a one year old and she will be with my husband. (Not our first tubing with a one year old) we also talk about we have all of our life jackets for all of our kids. No issues. We get back to the car to round everyone up and the owner drives up and says hope she is not going. At that moment he says he's not letting her go and it's his business. It felt like a total power trip in the way he spoke to myself and my husband. We let him know his employee had no problem taking our money. "It's my business and I say what goes". We wouldn't have had any issues if this information was up front on the website or said to us when paying, but his after the fact attitude ruined our 4th of July for a moment. Treat people better.

Concerns are met with aggression and focused on explanations about the challenges of running the business or references to her background and misunderstanding of her rather than meaningful customer service. Professional communication and customer relations could certainly be improved. The campground itself appears poorly maintained. The grounds are unkempt, the grass is often not mowed, and basic cleanliness and upkeep are lacking. The office is rarely open, making it difficult to get assistance when needed. It's disappointing to see the condition of a campground that was once a beautiful and well-cared-for destination. Long-time visitors will likely notice a significant decline.
