My child has had some great classroom experiences and has grown academically thanks to several caring, engaged educators. However, not all interactions have been consistent. While most teachers have been wonderful, there have been a couple who were less supportive or less communicative, which created some challenges. It didn't define the entire experience, but it's worth noting since it affected our child's year at times. Communication from administration is generally clear and responsive, and the school offers a solid range of electives and extracurriculars. The culture is positive, and students seem encouraged to push themselves and get involved.

The students were awesome, friendly and welcoming before, during and after the game. The stadium itself was very nice, clean and modern. The artificial turf was great, the snack bar was AWESOME!!, the restrooms were clean and the seats were comfortable with great views of the field no matter where you were seated. It would have been nice to have left with a win however, our group still had a great time.

Second, most of the kids here are not real friends to others and gossip about other students to each other. The Principal, VP and staff are available and willing to help with any concerns. Students get individual attention and lots of resources both at school and online. This school has a more "hands-on" type learning style compared to public school. Plus, there are so much more opportunities for extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports and field trips. The school really works hard to accommodate parents' schedules. Probably the thing I love most about Bear Springs is student behavior. There is zero-tolerance for bullying and bad behavior. The Principal and VP are very helpful in dealing with any situations. I have noticed that the student atmosphere at Bear Springs is much more accepting and supportive than I've seen at other schools. And the most important part ... my kids love it! They get up happy each morning, ready to go to school.

Horror story experience my whole time there. To start off teachers would tell you no to basic human…read moresurvival needs. There was stories that circulated between the students where when teachers would tell the students "no" for hours and kind of yell at them for asking to go to the bathroom they would end up peeing on the seats because they couldn't hold it anymore. This happened multiple times. When I was in third grade our teacher would force us to put our water bottles and lunch bags up in this cubby thing. I would not be able to drink water for hours on end because my teacher would yell at me when I would ask. I came home dehydrated and my parents had to meet with the teacher multiple times I think, it was so bad. One day after school I was still there and the football team was practicing. A high school guy fainted and had to be wheeled out on an ambulance bed and I was told it was because of dehydration. I know that the coach kept telling him the same thing my teacher would tell me. Basically mentally abusing us because we asked to drink water. Many people in my class would forget their water bottles and would have to drink out of water that tasted like METAL like really bad and it was boiling hot. Sometimes it would burn their lips it was so hot. Teachers would force us to sit outside on concrete when it was so cold my fingers would go blue and they forced the girls to either wear skirts with strictly only tights underneath or ugly boy pants NO ONE wanted to wear. Also in 3rd grade I was a pretty good writer. I loved writing it was one of the only things that I was gaining confidence from. I showed a paper I wrote to my teacher because she was correcting all of the students papers and she yelled at me telling me my worst subject was spelling and that I'll never be a writer. And then I started crying, and I remember her saying this because it was so traumatizing, something like "I know those are just crocodile tears stop crying, I know you're faking it" I actually think she had something wrong with her. I never really wrote again after that. The teachers got off on reprimanding and having power over the students. There was a special ED kid in my class. Let's just say I wouldn't want my kid being treated that way. Do not under any circumstance send your child to this school ESPECIALLY if they are special ED
