While most teachers have been wonderful, there have been a couple who were less supportive or less communicative, which created some challenges. It didn't define the entire experience, but it's worth noting since it affected our child's year at times. Communication from administration is generally clear and responsive, and the school offers a solid range of electives and extracurriculars. The Principal, VP and staff are available and willing to help with any concerns. Students get individual attention and lots of resources both at school and online. This school has a more "hands-on" type learning style compared to public school. Plus, there are so much more opportunities for extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports and field trips. The school really works hard to accommodate parents' schedules. Probably the thing I love most about Bear Springs is student behavior. There is zero-tolerance for bullying and bad behavior. The Principal and VP are very helpful in dealing with any situations. I have noticed that the student atmosphere at Bear Springs is much more accepting and supportive than I've seen at other schools. And the most important part ... my kids love it! They get up happy each morning, ready to go to school.

This school is very unorganized! All year last year I actually thought the VP was the Principal because he is the only person I saw all the time doing the duties of the Principal, having contact with the kids and parents. Don't even get me started on the lady in the front office. I just don't understand why people are so unhappy working when there are so many people unemployed looking for work. Many people would love to have her job and would enjoy coming to work everyday, why can't they find someone like this. All the other schools I've been too, the people working there are very happy and helpful, they are excited to have a job and get out early and have every Holiday and Fur-low day off. A major grip I have is that it seems that there is a lot of favoritism going on with the kids and their performing arts. For example when they do shows on/off campus, they have some kids singing a set of songs or one song by themselves when NO other kids where given an equal opportunity to audition for that spot. The teachers that are running the performances are putting their kids, or kids they know or like in the show with out giving every child at that school the opportunity to try out for it, it is not fair to the other kids; every one should have a chance to try out for these opportunities as well, and the best kid should get the chance? After all, I thought this was a performing arts type school, all these kids should have equal opportunities, regardless of who their parents are or who they know at the school.

What works at Sycamore is their teachers and administration. In my position, positive working relationships are essential in the continuity of a young person's education. We had some discipline issues and they were handled great. This year has been wonderful, my son is actually excited to go to school. The teachers and staff have been great. They may need a little help answering the phone but I just come in person if it's too important. I figured they are kinda busy with all those kids so let's cut them some slack. Traffic at drop off and pick up is a challenge, some entitled parents don't care about rules but we can't hold that against TMS. My son will make the most of his time here!

And the lady in the front office I think her name is Sharon, she was trying to take the subs side even tho I could have passed out, I really wonder what that would have done to them. She was also pretty rude to one of my friends when we went back to school after covid, and when we had to wear masks, because his masks fell below his nose and he didn't realized it right away. Seeing my child grow academically and spiritually for the last four years has been very rewarding, to say the least. As a Teacher myself, I can confidently leave my child with a peace of mind. Knowing my child is taken care of and is receiving the personalized education needed to be successful is very valuable to us. Another reason why I recommend this place is because of the student to teacher ratio. This is part of the reason why our children are successful. Lastly, I want to commend the teachers and specially the Principal/Teacher here at Grace. She goes above and beyond for our students and the ministry alone at Grace Christian School; her mission and vision are truly admirable. And her leadership is remarkable.
