We spent some time late morning the next day on August 16 2020 in downtown CDA. Stopped here to buy a truckers hat of the CDA official emblem since I've seen people down in Treasure Valley wear CDA apparel from time to time. It was $30 for a hat logo but I've gotten a good and fair use since I've worn it a lot ever since, both down in Treasure Valley and in Southern California visiting loved ones. The staff were good too. Since my birthday was the day prior to visiting their business they willingly gave me a sticker free of charge. I've been wanting to come again someday to CDA on another trip up the Idaho Panhandle like the one I took in the Summer of 2020. Maybe there will be something else I want here. Amy and Lexi have both been working there for years and their love/passion for the outdoors and quality customer service really shows with each customer. I have purchased all of my swimwear here over the last 4 years and I buy my base layers for winter here as well as my sunnies and I am happy to report the sunglasses selection is A+ without being intimidating! There is a local shirt company that adorns the shelves right when you walk in and I am not at all embarrassed to say that I own 10 or so of those shirts/pullovers! They well Canada Goose coats that have coyote fur trim on the hoods. Canada Goose has a history of using fur they obtain from trappers. Animals who are trapped in the wild can suffer for days from blood loss, shock, dehydration, frostbite, gangrene, and attacks by predators. They may be caught in steel-jaw traps that slam down on their legs, often cutting to the bone; Conibear traps, which crush their necks with 90 pounds of pressure per square inch. They certainly don't need to sell fur at Escape Outdoors. I will never buy anything at this horrible store that support animal cruelty.
