But after reading those reviews in its entirety. My husband and I decided to give them a call for an estimate. I spoke with Joe the owner of The Paint Pro's. He was able to come out and give me an estimate that same day which was awesome. He arrived at the scheduled appointment time which is always a plus. We told him what we wanted painted but we really didn't have any colors in mind we just knew we needed a paint job. Joe suggested some colors that I would have never considered and little did we know that we would go with those suggested colors and our walls would look amazing. After the estimate the next day we decided that we wanted to go with The Paint Pro's. The price was very reasonable and if Joe feels that you don't need a wall or a room painted, he won't paint it, it not about painting more rooms to get extra money with this company. Joe had such an amazing personality. He was very pleasant, had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about paint. Joe came that same day we called him and spackle the walls. The next day he arrived and began. The job was suppose to take two days. However, Joe finished everything in one day. Communication was excellent and he explained everything he was going to do and everything he was doing. Joe went above and beyond and definitely exceeded our expectations. I waited to write this review on purpose because I wanted to wait and let the Paint settle and look at it in every angle and under all the possible lighting and I have absolutely no complaints. Here are the lowlights of my experience with Matt: --Communication was a nightmare. He responded to me while he was doing the job (a plus!) but he was more interested in complimenting his own work, man-splaining, and cracking corny jokes than he was in listening my concerns. Whenever there was a problem, he blamed someone else. ---Cost was very high. This is my fault , as I should have gotten more estimates. --The work was below average. For example, Matt installed a bifold door. He asked if I wanted it painted and when I asked if it would need to be painted, he said it was up to me. I opted to leave it unpainted but had no idea that Matt would leave pencil marks and scuffs all over it. By that time, I was so tired of interacting with him that I decided to paint it myself. Less than three months later, the door came off the track and the pin that holds it in place will not go back in. I've been trying to get him to come back to fix the door (as per his warranty) for two weeks. Ha! Who am I kidding? I could go on but you get the drift. Extremely professional, paid attention to detail, always on time, kept their word and made my vision come true! I had my basement renovated, some of the things I had done were : added some recessed lighting, painting, flooring in my laundry room, finished my closets, changed all hardware, added a sink, plastering and mounting TVs and my floating Vanity. Oh and I was really blown away when he created the wooden floating shelves I wanted... from SCRATCH! They are absolutely stunning and everyone who's seen them thus far ask me where I bought them! They also fixed plumbing and rerouted some electrical. I now have usable outlets and a sink in my laundry room! I'm loving it!!!
