It's been exceptionally hard to find help with some properties in the Sacramento area that I can't manage myself. During my initial search, most of companies I talked to in the area over promised and under delivered. I do have high standards of course as I myself have been doing the job for 10 years but I couldn't believe the experiences I was having with these other companies. When I finally found the Allegiance team, I was so relieved. Not only are they great at what they do and got these properties rented quickly, they are just fun to work with and very down to earth. We've been trying to get in contact with them for about a week and a half through calls, texts, and even by visiting their office in person, only to find out that no one is actually there. The contact information listed online didn't seem reliable, and we were given different numbers to try instead, which only added to the confusion. I do want to highlight that Adam was great, he was responsive and got back to us in a timely manner. However, he isn't able to assist with property-specific inquiries, so we were referred to Jesse multiple times. Despite being told on more than one occasion that Jesse would reach out, at one point even the same day, we never heard back and were left waiting days without any follow-up. At this point, I can't imagine the amount of loss occurring due to this kind of lack of communication. Since then, we've moved on and are now working with another property management company and are in the process of signing. Overall, this experience has been disappointing, especially when we were genuinely interested in moving forward. It made the process unnecessarily stressful and left a poor impression of the company as a whole.

For the purpose of putting together a paper trail of his own in case he ever has to counter-complain. This same neighbor will come home in the middle of the night, lock himself out of his apartment, smash his window out in a rage instead of just waiting a few hours for the office to open so he can grab a spare key, and from that point on, his tarped-over window will be a (totally legitimate) reason as to why he needs the dogs around, and management, failing to put 2 and 2 together, will never fix his window, and never respond to his emails or yours about fixing the window, and will just keep kicking that can down the road for months. Probably because the house is on the market and they can wash their hands of it once it sells. In the end, you'll have to break your lease anyway just to get away from the guy, and the whole living situation will have been a wash. The only, and I mean ONLY, thing Vintage Properties cares about is keeping units filled, and rent coming in, so they don't get fired from managing a property. They do not care about your right to quiet enjoyment. They do not care about your sanity or giving you what you paid for. You could be living next to Jeffrey Dahmer, and if he's been reliably paying rent for 4 years, tough luck pal, you're gonna have to just listen to blood curdling screams.
