The agent can't answer any claims questions, the claims dept incorrectly passes the bucket to the adjuster who passes the bucket to the loss dept who will not return any calls. Very frustrating. Have to return the car rental but have not received my check. Nobody seems to know the rental policy with regards to total loss car policy. I should say nobody cares to clarify it, they just want your money and go home at 430pm. For sure I will be shopping for new home and auto insurance policy as soon as I get my money. I too want to clock in at 930am, clock out at 430pm and not return any calls.

Since being taken over by Texan Insurance, customer service and competitiveness have really taken a…read morenosedive. I was a customer for years, but they were never able to even come close to the auto rate offered by Progressive, but then when an Allstate bundle beat what I was paying for auto at Progressive and homeowners through Suzanne Brown / Texan, that made me decide to leave both of them. My exit was handled very badly, my cancellation document, which I signed and have a copy of, was never sent to the insurer, so weeks later I had to call the insurer directly and get that taken care of myself. But this wasn't the only time, many times in the past I could never get my agent to call me back. I guess she was off chasing big commercial real estate deals, and we private homeowners are too small to care about? Well, the relationship is over now, and I'm glad to have EVERYTHING at one place, where I can look at it one one phone app.

Some start fees are close to $300. We were quoted $250 and the companies that they put you with. They Don't have very good reviews. The companies they broker you to for insurance are companies that struggle to have customers stay with them and the claims with these companies, usually a problematic because they don't pay out on time, or even at all.
