Very simple my bill was $276 and my first payment was. Next two moths they were $99 and no one could provided ANY information as to where my money went or why it was that amount. I kept them for two months and canceled. Unfortunate but this is NOT americas number one insurance especially when they have 3rd party billing department .. what a headache this all was needless to say approach with caution and don't be like me and just pay.. know where your money is going ladies and gents!

According to her, I am not allowed to request an ELP service because they have to keep calling me every time I make a request. She also claimed that they are the only local provider in my zip code and it's their territory which is not true, as another local provider had already contacted me. When it comes to shopping for home and auto insurance, I want at least three providers to compare. The agent seemed annoyed and entitled, expecting me to only wait for them. I have been using the ELP service for years and have always had a positive experience, but this is the first time it has not been the case. This insurance provider is unprofessional and gives the Dave Ramsey ELP service a bad reputation.

We sent emails after emails / calls after calls once we realized this and he would completely ignore us along with his assistant who I won't name. They wouldn't answer calls from our realtor or respond to our emails - IF they did it was days later they emailed back. There were literally WEEKS before we would hear from him that we can actually post proof of. We did our research and read reviews so we were dumbfounded by the treatment and the situation. What was it about us that caused such carelessness? Why us? We called it a lost and cancelled the purchase agreement losing $2000 on our first ever home buying experience. While we forgive him and have grown stronger from the experience, it's one we will NEVER forget. We now qualify for a home after all the hard honest work and guidance put in by another lender.
