Never written a negative online review about a service before, but as there can be serious repercussions for an unreliable chauffeur service such as this one, I feel obligated to share my experience with "LFL Worldwide Chauffeur Services". After seeing some positive ratings for the company online (which I can now only assume were done under questionable circumstances), I booked a chauffeur pick up from Dublin airport for an important work contact via the company's website . On the day, I get a text from the contact that there is no one there, ten minutes after designated pick up time. I call the contact number on LFL's website but there's no reply and it goes to answering machine. Call again - same thing. Third time - no one home. Interesting how a company dealing with time-sensitive appointments doesn't deem it important enough to have their phone manned. So I emailed as well. Finally, 45 minute and a few more attempts later, someone picks up. "Yeah I've just seen your email, there was a problem with our booking system and your reservation didn't come through the system properly. I don't have any car to send now. Sorry". This is despite me receiving a reservation confirmation number and being charged. After getting past the astonishment that a company that purports to be professional and reliable could just not show up and provide such an amateurish reason for it, I asked why no one had answered the phone for about 45 minutes. All the person could say was "yeah I know, sorry". They said they'll refund the booking and there's nothing else they do. I asked if they weren't embarrassed by this inadequate service, but it was clear there was no point continuing the conversation.
