My friend just had her birthday here and the entire experience was great! We got the entire bar to ourselves from noon-2 and had unlimited games to play (so many to choose from) as well as table top games and console games. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the bar! We had young kids as well and they had just as much fun as the adults. Food was very delicious and the staff was very accommodating and friendly!

Cool place! I wish I knew about it earlier. We visited this place on Halloween night, everybody dressed up for Halloween which was awesome! There were plenty of games options. Arcade, PlayStation, Nintendo and bored games. The tokens are only for arcades . They sell around 12 tokens for 5 dollars. It was enough for 3 people. Although they have short food menu, you can order food and tokens comes Free with your order. It was fun time. Btw, Restrooms are very clean and nice. Definitely i will come here again.

LFG is the perfect place to visit during Dokidokon.  They were at the convention talking about their games, food and drink.  I love all the nerdy names for their mixed drinks, shots and food.  I was pleasently surprised to see 3 vegan options on the menu. I ordered the Plumbers Juice drink and Blinkys Tacos.  My husband got Water Temple for his drink and Fatality Fries for his food.  We were told our wait would be about 45 minutes because it was so busy.  I completelg understood simply because they had one person in the kitchen.  We were chill because there were games galore here, both arcade games and most consoles. Our drinks were delicious.  Added bonus, they use paper straws which I thought was awesome. The food was spectacular. My tacos were so worth the wait and I liked that they were shredded chicken instead of the standard ground beef. I would come back weekly if I lived in town. Love you guys.

It wouldn't be an official new year without me telling everyone how much I love LFG. Definitely had to go there on a Tuesday to have some fun singing karaoke! With $10 pitchers and all that yummy food on the menu, it always entices me. Plus the service is always amazing when I go there!

I really enjoy this bar/gaming experience. I wasn't sure what to expect because I have been to gaming bars and had either a fun time or it was crowded and awkward. So I went in, hoping for the best, and it delivered. It is a cute little bar that has pinball games, shooting games, different types of consoles, and some old school video games that I haven't played since I was little. They also have card games, board games, and table games to entertain you if you don't want to leave your table. We ordered food and received some coins for playing with the purchase. I ordered the Master Beef Sandwich. The cost $12. Sandwiches come with fries or house-made chips. Kind of pricey for the sandwich but it was very good. Cost: You are looking at spending between $10 and $15 per person on food. $5 and $10 for a drink. They do have craft beer options, liquor menu, and different specialty cocktails. The drinks range from beer: $4 to $6. Cocktails were between $6 and $10, I believe. Overall: My experience was good. I enjoyed playing games and will mostly go back to experience more food and play more games. I will update this review if I go back.

The food was what you'd expect at an American bar. Cool variety of drinks with fun names. Video games and arcade games scattered around the place. I wish it was a little bit bigger. The console games are free to play for customers. The arcade games are a token each. You get 4 tokens with every purchase of an item.

This is one of the most amazing concepts to come to Kalamazoo! A old school retro gaming bar! This was my second time in LFG! The first time I got just food and the food was amazing, the second time was for this adult milkshake and that was even better! The atmosphere is great, not to crowded, music playing but not loud! If you haven't been go immediately!

I came in for a special event, best the Brewer with Saugatuck. It was so much fun getting my butt kicked in Mario Kart 64! They were featuring Lager of Love which is their pride beer. During the event the best bartender around, Mandall, was making drinks and having great conversation with us as always. I had the Fatality Fries which is a play on chili cheese fries and they were delicious. This place always had a wide range of age groups and games fitting for them all. It is my go to place in the Zoo for a nice relaxing casual night out on the town!

We had to pay $7-8 extra just to utilize the trampoline which we had to request and wait for them to unlock, more than once, because they didn't have enough staff to supervise. It's annoying to pay extra and then have to repeatedly request to use the said item we paid extra for. The manager, James, was rude. Some of the kids at the party took cups from the wrong table and he let us know. My friend offered to pay the deficit, but eventually he relented and did not charge her. I was annoyed by his attitude that we owe some business money when the table wasn't supervised by staff, when we didn't realize the kids took from the wrong table, and when these stupid plastic cups probably cost the company less than 10 cents each! I spoke up, saying something like, "I don't think it's fair you're holding the customer responsible for a misunderstanding." He got angry and accused me of wanting something for nothing. This is after I PAID EXTRA to utilize equipment they were being stingy with. I was so pissed and was going to complain to the manager... but he WAS the manager. An employee, Sarah, saved the day by being an amazing worker and leading the kids in song and dance. She was kind, energetic and a breath of fresh air after dealing with James stifling personality. Sarah is the sole reason this is not a one star review. The food was gross. Kids didn't really eat the pizza. I went to use the bathroom and saw that Chuck E. Cheese was hiring for up to $11.50 per hour. No wonder James was ungodly worried about the cups. The company can't afford to pay him a living wage. How could they ever recoup a 3 plastic cup loss? I have no interest in ever patronizing Chuck E. Cheese again. The food is gross. The manager was awful, and the company doesn't pay employees enough to deal with the headache of sugar crazed, screaming kids. Hard pass.

They love to chit chat and are into a lot of esoteric things. That is the charm of these mom and pop shops-- you get to know the people. The downside is the overall goals for the store are overly ambitious for the couple and others in the area are doing it better. There are a lot of arcade machines inside, broken, collecting dust, while other businesses such as an arcade in Paw Paw is set to open, and there is an expanded Beercade in downtown Kalamazoo with more arcade games and pinball machines. In terms of their product, often it is priced high while the condition of it is quite low. I've bought multiple disk games that didn't work. Some were too scratched to play or the disks were warped. I tried to have them repaired but they were too far gone. In short, products aren't tested at all or not thoroughly. Some handhelds have faulty electronics, bad speakers, and other problems that don't justify their price. Often, they are priced higher than ones in a better condition on eBay. As much as I want to recommend Treasure Quest because it's a mom and pop shop, I can't. The products they have don't justify the price and the overall condition of many of the items are below average.

Even so, this is a local business that would be cool to support as the owner once told me he would like to make an arcade. Imagine having Kazoo Books and a vintage game store and arcade right in one area. Id love it if the owner got motivated in cleaning up the store, more fair with the pricing, and better hours. If he has a dream Im sure there are enough retro heads in Kalamazoo that would love to support a space like this. Its just the main thing is that its too expensive and has strange hours.
