I've determined certain home improvement or maintenance projects are worth paying for: drywall repair and roof issues! I was so lucky to find Aaron at ABE. An improperly installed vent pipe by a previous contractor caused a long term leak, which eventually made it through the bathroom ceiling. He was meticulous, timely and quick. He matched my ceiling texture perfectly, fixed the root cause of a leaky roof and made a major headache of a problem disappear in 3 hours. Full service and didn't leave a speck of dust behind. Whether it's a small job or a major remodel, I trust Aaron completely to do the job right. A rare find!

When the day came, it was nearly impossible to figure out over the phone when the cleaners could arrive, and they showed up nearly two hours late after giving a time window. The cleaners were friendly and did a fairly average job. I say this because there were several key areas we mentioned that hadn't been cleaned, like windowsills, tile grout, and marks on the doors. Despite all this, we were happy and willing to pay the "around $300" we were quoted over the phone, even though this seems to be nearly $100 more than most other companies in the area. The cleaner then proceeded to ask for $675 cash only. This was RIDICULOUS not only for a house of this size but for only 2-3 hours of work and an average job at best. We informed them that we would have to arrange payment with the office, she countered with $500 as the "best she could do",and the cleaners left. There were several attempts by the cleaners themselves, not the management, to arrange a time to pick up large amounts of cash from us in person in the following days, but we haven't heard from the management and they seem to have moved on. REALLY SKETCHY. Save yourself the headache. Pics are of items we specifically asked for clean as they were on list from property manager.

After contacting various roof repair…read morecompanies, one person even gave me a quote over the phone without even physically seeing my roof, I was starting to get a little frustrated. Then I came across A S Quality Construction! I spoke with the owner Arturo who said he could come out and give me an estimate later that same day. When he arrived I pointed out the problem that I saw, He then got on the roof and inspected the entire roof for any cracked or dislodged tile. Everything looked good with the exception of my initial problem. He took pictures and told me he would give me an estimate later that day. When he called he gave me a very fair estimate on the repair. I was happy and agreeable with it and hired him. When he showed up for the job he was on time, professional and ready to work. My house is 28 years old so the tiled roof is in good shape but has faded some over the years so it's tough to match up new tile with the older. Arturo took the new tile (which is a little different shade) and replaced some of the original tile from the back of the house (which no one sees) and moved the original tile to the front so everything matches. Great idea! Now my roof is in tip top shape and ready for the winter rains. (Hoping there will be winter rains). I have found a reliable, trustworthy contractor in Arturo and I can feel assured that if I have a roofing problem in the future I know who to call. If you have a roofing problem I would highly recommend A S Quality Construction.
