SUMMARY: They were the only company that could come out on 1 day's notice, and arrived exactly on time. Everyone I dealt with was both friendly and professional, and the job was done quickly (~15 minutes!) and right. I'm very satisfied with the service I received. (Also note that based on a LOT of phone calls made, their pricing seems to be about in the middle of the pack). FULL: So my upstairs AC went out last week. Although the worst of the heat wave had ended, it was still hitting 85+ outside and 95+ inside. Fortunately, I have 2 AC units - but the downstairs unit is smaller, and was being overwhelmed by the heat from upstairs, leaving even the downstairs hot and causing me to worry the unit would break. Anyway, I called around to a lot of companies. There were many that had good ratings, but (and perhaps this is pot luck), Ley was the only company that could come out by the next day. When scheduling the initial visit, I asked some questions about pricing and they seemed to be in the middle of the pack. Unfortunately I cannot remember the names of either of the people I spoke with at the company (I even asked the guy as he left specifically for this review, and now am forgetting!). But both the woman I spoke with on the phone, and the man who came out to do the repair, were very friendly and personable. The technician arrived almost exactly on the first minute of the arrival window, which was awesome. He was fast too - he had diagnosed the problem in a couple of minutes, max, and completed the repair within 15 minutes. He then spent quite a while answering questions I had about future upgrades, and ideas on how to cool the one room in my house that's always hotter than the rest. He actually spent more time answering my questions and giving me ideas than doing the repair! The final bill was a HUGE relief too. I was very worried that it would be a freon issue, which is a fortune to diagnose leaks and then refill. But it wound up being just some sort of capacitor, and was probably about the cheapest possible repair the unit could have needed. Again, this is a bit of pot luck - but it's still a good sign in my eyes when the correct repair is cheap, and that's the repair they make, without trying to upsell or convince me it's something more expensive. Speaks to integrity and professionalism. Anyway, the bottom line (as you can probably tell by now LOL) is that I was quite satisfied with the service. The only one that gave me the time of the day, spoke to Travis about a bad part of an outdoor mounted heating furnace. Sent pictures and he sourced the part the same day, within hours I went and picked up the part and it fixed the issue on the rental property furnace of the inlaws we manage. I like to diagnose and fix things myself as I am very capable and technical, if there is something I am not familiar with or feel I can't do myself these are the guys I would call first! Called Ley's Air Conditioning told them my furnace was not putting out heat. Talked to Travis he said they could come out the next day, I said that's fine. He called back a few minutes later and said they had a man in the area. He was at my residence in 10 minutes. He was professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He said he had to order a part and said it would take about 5 days, they received the part in 2 days and were through with the work in 30 minutes. First time to write review. Scheduled with them on Wed at the noon by email and got confirmation, I drove there for 45 mins and wait them for 30 mins but nobody show up. Called them and a lady said she made a mistake and she set the schedule on Thursday(tomorrow), feel upset because I'm very busy and waste my time today. They refuse to send another technician or schedule a time in the same day afternoon. This thing happens sometime but the reason I feel really bad this time is the lady "explain" to me "WHO HASN'T MADE A MISTAKE" instead of say "SORRY", they don't understand and respect the time I waste here, and they let me think that's normal in their business. At the end, that lady said sorry with a strong tone. You maybe have a lot business to do but I won't use them again. read more

I had Ley Heating come up because my unit in the attic was leaking water into my house, They looked at it and told me I needed to replace the coil and wanted $1935.00, I was suspicious so I had another company come out for a 2nd opinion, this company said the drain line was clogged and charged me $90 to unclog it, NO more water leaking into the house, This company is dishonest or incompetent read more

SCE killed our power due to wind. Heater was on, thus overheated tripping regulator. Having no idea how to fix it, I called Ley Heating & Air Conditioning. They (owner & previous owner) responded to the boonies of Sage on the time agreed upon. After analyzing and checking the system, a second issue was discovered, compounding the problem. They were able to work through the issue, replacing propane pressure regulator and got the heater running at 100%. Their fee was way below what I expected. This is the company to hire. read more

They showed up when they said they would, diagnosed the problem (noisy air flow, caused by a more-heavy-duty-than-needed filter) immediately, and installed a new thermostat as requested in record time. My air broke on July 4 th we called Leys . they came out on July 5 th . Travis had to order a part he said it would be in by the 6 th and he would be back by 3:00 .. he was there on the 6 th on time and fixed it. it's running great ! Thank you so much !! Called an air conditioning company to fix air conditioner blowing hot air. Company Came out and gave an estimate of $1600.00 Decided to call someone else to get another estimate. Called Ley heating and air conditioning company. Came out next day and fixed for $140.00 Big difference in price. You might disagree with the $70.00 which I think you only pay if you have nothing done but I know their honest. So they made a bookkeeping error as long as they fixed it why so upset? They saved me me $1460.00 which they could easily have under cut the previous bid and Io would never have know the difference. read more

Paid the outrageous $70 fee. Their office called me to say "so sorry" but everyone charges service fees all the time. This was all in January 2015. Now in April I get a bill from them that says "Past Due" for the $70. Just sent them the back of the check they deposited into their account which cleared mine as was paid in January 2015 as stated. Two years ago we had a different company install a new furnace. They installed it incorrectly so much so that it was now not working. We contacted them to no avail. Wouldn't even return our phone calls. We contacted Ley and they were out the next day. They just finished installing a new furnace after determining that the other one wasn't repairable. They sent 3 technicians who were not only highly competent and efficient, but they were also friendly, helpful, and personable.
