After the level of service I've received from Edgar and his team, though, I felt like they deserved the recognition. I've now had two experiences with this company, and both have been outstanding. The first time, my AC wasn't performing the way it should after another HVAC technician had replaced my blower motor. The system was running, but it just wasn't moving enough air throughout my two-story home. Something still didn't seem right. That's when I called Edgar. He came out, took a look, and within minutes identified the issue. He told me, "It's your motor. It's not blowing strong enough." He explained that he could tell right away because the airflow wasn't what it should be, especially for a two-story house. He said I should really be able to hear and feel the air moving much stronger than it was. What really impressed me was his honesty and professionalism. After diagnosing the problem, I asked him what I owed him for coming out. To my surprise, he told me not to worry about it and didn't charge me anything. I ended up contacting the previous HVAC technician, explaining what Edgar had found, and requested a refund for the motor. I then purchased the same motor that originally came with my system and installed it myself. Sure enough, the moment I installed it, the airflow improved immediately and the system started performing the way it should. Edgar was absolutely right. The second time I reached out, I was having an issue with my AC condensate pump and drain line. I wasn't able to get an immediate appointment because they were booked up, but the technician I spoke with was still incredibly helpful over the phone. He took the time to answer my questions and point me in the right direction. Following his advice, I disconnected the hoses and used my shop vac to clear out the drain line. It turned out the problem wasn't even the condensate pump at all. Once I cleared the line, everything started working properly again, saving me from replacing a part that didn't need to be replaced. Both experiences showed me that this company genuinely cares about helping people, not just selling repairs. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional, knowledgeable, honest, and willing to go the extra mile. As someone who works in the trades myself, I really appreciate companies that operate with integrity. Edgar and his team have absolutely earned my business going forward, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy HVAC service.

I decide to have them install it and a new fan blade to quiet it down. He installed them and checked out the system. Since everything was OK, he suggested moving the whole condenser unit to the side of the house away from the patio. He did a great job, and we are so happy with the solution to quiet down our patio. We got all kinds of technical information, like: Capacitor CFM Fan Motor - 7.5 reading in the 6.2 and so it might fail in the future. They can install a (permanent) one for $340. Our Freon was full but it costs $200/lb. and we'd need 8-13 lbs. If/when we do need a whole new unit, he'd recommend that plus "new duct work" costing around $15-20k, so we can plan ahead. Our Refrigerant R-22 has been discontinued, units with R-410A will be discontinued soon, and the new refrigerants are R-54b or R-32. Super good information and no pressure upselling to get us to do more that day. Mr. Mathias was very pleasant to talk to and we were feeling comfortable enough to talk about our families. We wholeheartedly recommend J&M to come out for routine service and maintenance. It was only $108 today. I will post some before and after photos.

Integrity was able to come out on a Saturday however they quoted $9,000 to fix what was actually a…read more~$600 (parts + labor) problem. I got a second opinion from Veteran's heating and cooling and it turned out to be the compressor contactor that welded itself in the ON position which I had mentioned to the Integrity technician already. After replacing the contactor etc. the system is working fine again despite its age. I cannot recommend Integrity due to this experience.
