The first time we used them the person that came gave us a lot of different options on how to fix the problems we were having which is helpful when you are trying to figure out to fit this kind of stuff in the budget. Their pricing is reasonable and I have no complaints about the quality of the work. In the past, I have had to call back electricians after they were done but I haven't had that experience with McCurdy. Communication has been really open as well which is not something I really appreciate in these kind of service providers. Most recently we had an emergency situation and were very flexible and responsive. Overall they are our family's preferred service provider for electrical work.

They came and "did their service" which clearly states many things they're doing but explicitly - check capacitor - check drain pump They come and leave and say all is good in the same day. About a week goes by we get this absolutely foul inhumane smell in the house. After hours of searching we find our drain pump to be not working and overflowing causing the smell some how. Next to our existing drain pump is a brand new in the box drain pump and a brand new electric meter. We call this company to ask why this was left here and why we weren't informed there was an issue. We're harshly told that there was no issue and that they didn't leave that pump there and that's not their meter and that since we have a backup pump to swap the pump ourselves as it's our problem The brand new pump wasn't ours it was left there by the tech they sent out to do the "work". We're now left with some ruined carpet and water damage mitigation rental equipment on our dime due to their mess up. Now let's fast forward another week where our AC stops working. We of course call another company to come since this company is incompetent and of course the issue is the run capacitor that they got paid to inspect completely full to the top with a mouse family. Along with the capacitor issue they said they're checking the wiring and half the wiring in the capacitor cubicle is deteriorated and the insulation is at the end of its life. Attached is the solicited special and the status of the things they got paid to work on a week after we paid them

He did not upsell and was very matter of fact and professional. I've delt with Wayne alarm years ago as I was a time Firefighter and this company was servicing a residential are. They where then and they still are very skilled at the work the do. Joe was the technician who came and Installed my alarm as promised on the date picked out. Joe was fast and very professional and knows his stuff. He evidently has been doing this for a very long time because he had no issues understanding what Barry and I agreed on as far as placement and execution of alarm Installation. I am extremely pleased with the work Joe did. Joe even got back to me in the early evening to make sure I was happy with alarm and that I understood how to operate it. I did have a couple quick questions and Joe answered them perfectly. Thanks Wayne alarm for everything. I appreciate you making my ho.e extra safe now. Ryan had to coordinate the service team, install team and then back to the service team so they could be there when the Burlington Fire department could be there for this extremely complicated commercial grade alarm system in a residential home. He understands both the service and installation sides, as well as providing excellent customer service.  My thanks also to Ryan D and Lisa for the communication and customer service. Thanks to Chris from service and both Dave and Joe from the installation team.   Ray Boutin, REMAX Innovative Properties

Wish all of their clients would give reviews on here. Figured they would mostly be 5 star. After a couple companies were too incompetent to help us with our seeping oil tank, Cubby came and quickly gave us a quote, did a quick fix, and scheduled a new tank asap. The few times we've had people in here to help with another issue, they were honest, friendly and got the job done. You do need to sign up for automatic delivery with them to use them for other services and they gave us a discount our first year which puts them a little above average compared to others. After our first year expires this winter, they'll probably be about a 10-15 cents more than the average place, but I'll take that after hearing stories of inferior oil form some other companies. Another bonus is the annual inspections most companies charge up to $100 for is free. Definitely happy with everything.
