Just got them to clear a kitchen sink clog. Tony and Andrew came and got the job done. Arrived on time, Very pleasant and efficient.

I had a sewer blockage that they didn't clear by removing the toilet and trying to clear from there. So they opened the clean out in the basement without giving me notice that I needed to move everything. You know what came flying out all over my son's tools and tables. They sweep some of it into the sump pump and then asked for a mop that I wouldn ot want back but then left it in the basement after ruining it. I could have moved the tables and the tools. Some tools were even dumped on the floor. They didn't clear the mess up and they were unable to clear the blockage. They had no common sense. Do not use them. read more

We had a stubborn kitchen sink drain issue that has been ongoing. I tried everything from Draino to using a 50 foot heavy duty wire from Lowes and could not get it to clear. My basement was flooded due to my commode overflowing. I called Lex-Rooter at 12AM & they had 2 guys out within an hour. (Alex/Tony, I believe were their names) These two gentlemen had everything done & their mess cleaned up within an hour & a half. I asked them if they could clean up the sewage that was already on the floor before they got there. Lexington, KY: The technician who was assigned to our job was not a plumber. There may not be plumbers in this business. The technician caused damage, that he was sorry that he had caused. He told us that a representative from his company would contact us as follow-up. We also called the office and was told a representative would contact us. My experience with LexRooter was excellent. I highly recommend them. I give them the highest rating for the work they did for me. I have owned my home for more than 38 years. Never have a had a sewage back up before. It was coming up through the finished basement floor drain pouring all over the floor. At a time like that a person feels rather helpless. I phoned LexRooter and the dispatcher was warm and professional. Music to my ears, she said a technician would arrive in less than 30 mins. Markiss arrived shortly after I hung up the phone. He listen carefully to the things that I had done in an attempt to unclog the mainline. Immediately he went to his truck and brought in a high-powered snake to snake the basement drain back to the easement at the back of my property . When this snake wasn't successfully clearing the blockage, he quickly contacted his supervisor. I appreciated this so much because not only was he working with integrity himself, he had the humility to know when he needed to ask for help wasting no time!! I consider that to be a very very valuable resource in any technician. Daniel, his supervisor arrived. I believe he said he has worked for the company for eight years. I appreciated his experience and skill. Daniel impressed me immediately. He was very respectful and yet confident in his own ability to address the problem. He listened to everything I had to say and everything the other technician had to say, and then he moved forward from his experience to do the exact things needed to fix the problem and fix it quickly He explained to me that he needed to use a snake that was a larger gauge which he had in his truck and he told me that the right thing to do was to create a clean out. My house was constructed a long time before and it didn't have a clean out in the yard and it didn't have any kind of clean out in the house. He quickly constructed a clean out at very minimal cost that accommodated the larger higher powered snake, which in short order resulted in one of the most wonderful sights a person could have when their house is flooding with sewage -suddenly the basement drain happily started to swallow up, sewage draining very very quickly. Now not only do I have the mainline drain clear and functional, I finally have an easy access clean out. Yay!! The company is very lucky to have Daniel working for them. I feel confident that in every job he has a hand in, not only will the problem be solved, it will be done fairly and as inexpensively as is reasonable. Daniel will leave his customers eager to use LexRooter again if need arises. Markiss and Daniel worked together efficiently. The speed and quality of the work turned a nightmare experience into one that left me with a lot of gratitude in my heart. The bill was also extremely fair. read more

Had an unfortunate seriously clogged main drain line. Jamar and Ronnie showed up before the earliest appointment time, introduced themselves with the biggest, most wonderful smiles and immediately went to work. They included me in all parts of the process and took care of something I feared would become a major problem with ease. Lex-Rooter saved the day and were extremely professional! A sewer drain clog is certainly not a pleasant problem to have!! We were recommended to contact Lex-Rooter by our usual plumber who was overbooked for the day. We called and our call was taken promptly and she was quite friendly and helpful! We were told the staff would arrive between 11-3 and they arrived well within the time frame. They assessed the problem with our basement sewer drain and explained thoroughly to my husband what they would do and estimated the cost. They were very efficient and the whole issue was resolved within an hour. The cost was reasonable and they showed my husband the work that was completed as the clog was not that far down the pipe. I was taking a shower two nights ago and when I finished, I pulled back the curtain and had water all over the bathroom floor. My sewer line had become overwhelmed. I was referred to Lex-Rooter by one company that was completely booked up and they said Lex-Rooter was reliable and reasonably priced. I called and made an appointment for the next morning, for Thur March 17. Tony came over, as scheduled, and flushed out the lines all the while being knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. Lex Rooter was highly recommended by another plumbing company who was unable to perform the work. They removed a clog that was preventing a second floor bathroom from draining properly. It was a stubborn clog, and they ran into some issues along the way. As a result, the job took them from 8:00am until 3:00pm, but they stuck with the price they had quoted me when they arrived that morning. Had a septic issue on the Labor Day weekend. The positive was that they did come out on Sunday. I was told that due the the weekend, the cost would be double. Okay..this is understandable. When I was given the bills (two as they sent two trucks, one to clear the line and one to pump the septic), I was charged 44% more than quoted - on top of double!! Called the office and spoke to the woman who quoted me...Sorry was the best she had. Asked for a call from the owner ....no call back. Tried numerous times to talk to the office manager (Frankie). Works on the bait and switch method. Quoted one price on the phone and after they arrived quoted a higher price. Did not have time to call someone else so I figured it was just a mistake and would work it out with the office. They were no help and refused to offer any credit. I will never use them again! I suggest others think twice about using them as well. read more
