We came on the Sunday before we left, and the store didn't open until 11:00am, but there were already door crashers waiting to go inside. I had been to a Len's Mill store previously when I had lived in London, and it was alright, nothing too special. It's more of a big warehouse looking store and sells a bit of everything. While my mom was looking through the fabrics, I ended up walking around, they had a bunch of clothing items, craft supplies, bedding, kitchen and bathroom decor. They had a lot of snacks at the cash register too. I ended up getting some pretzel snacks and some candy. Overall, this store is a unique store with many different items. Although this store isn't the cleanest, or most organized, but you can certainly find some treasures. Unfortunately, we don't have a location in Windsor, maybe one day.

This store is one of the locations in the Fabricland (Western) Company group, and like all the others carries the basics, including couturier silks, woolens, designer fabrics, cottons and blends, as well as notions, patterns and accessories and the largest selection of fabrics possible, including drapery and upholstery fabrics. My wife loves to knit and we have purchased the cutest little buttons here... Not always the most outgoing staff, but they are helpful if you ask the right questions!

Many people go to Len's Mill Store for the 'deals', but don't be mistaken, this is not a discount store regardless of its factory atmosphere. This store is actually pretty expensive. The fabrics are over priced, but on the flip side there is a huge selection. If you can find the same thing at Fabricland, I suggest you do as you will save a great deal. Fabric is not the only item over priced. I once went there to pick up a simple white onesie for my newborn. It's sale price was $12.00, from $19.99. Needless to say I did not buy it. Regardless of price issues, this place is pretty neat and I do go there a few times a year. They have some pretty cool things, but you might have to go a few times to see everything and dig a bit.

When we picked up the samples, we could see the quality of his workmanship going on in the shop and he described the quality of the materials that he uses. We selected a fabric from his wide range of samples and scheduled the work. The chairs and seats were dropped off at the scheduled time and the work was completed on time and at the quoted price. The results were outstanding! Highly recommended!
