Well guess who started having "probs" around the same time? My child. So she's been for filling after filling her entire high school career. Well, last year she had a tooth filled. It was still painful. They sent us to have a root canal. Still painful. Went back to root canal dr and he filed down her bite and did something else because it was "cracked". Well here we are 6 months later with that SAME tooth hurting allllllllllllll weekend long. So, I had my daughter in the office first thing when they opened. Do you know they made her sit there for an hour and a half HURTING while they cleaned every single senior citizen in town's teeth before they even put her in a room and put some numbing gel on it just to make her more comfortable since she didn't have an appt? Oh yea. AN HOUR AND A HALF with a toothache so a few people can get their free toothbrushes from their cleanings. FINALLY, they take her back, put the numbing gel on it and gave her a shot to numb it as well. THEN, they took an x-ray. Well, low and behold, Dr. Baker couldn't find anything wrong (AS USUAL) So she wanted to file down her bite, AGAIN. Then tells my daughter, you gotta wear your night guard. UMMMMMM, I know my daughter and the dr that performed the root canal told her the same thing. Do you see how far that has gotten her??? We're back in your face with the same problem. My child REFUSES to wear that guard, so I'mma need yall to pull the tooth, NOW. I'm can't go thru this hurting with her anymore. We have been fighting this same tooth for a YEAR!!!! I want it out of her head! NOW. Do you know she refused to pull it, EVEN THOUGH SHE COULDN'T FIND THE PROBLEM AND NEVER ONCE CALLED DR MAXWELL IN TO CONSULT WITH HIM ABOUT IT???? Probably because she knows everything. BLESS HER LAZY HEART. She simply was too lazy to pull a tooth so NOW, we have an appt with another dentist who does NOT accept my child's insurance and I am paying FULL price to have this child's tooth extracted TODAY!!! Sooooo, unless you are over the age of 65 and simply need cleanings for your dentures on the regular or a cap here and there, DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE. I hope the schools cancel their contract with this dentist because they half way clean children's teeth and have NO COMPASSION for those same children when they come in with a toothache. I will pay FULL PRICE anyday and everyday of the week at a REPUTABLE, COMPASSIONATE dentist before I ever let Dr. Baker in my child's mouth EVER again. She is the laziest excuse for a dental professional I have ever seen in my life. She wants to do the procedures she WANTS to do and everything else is referred out or gone without treatment. In my personal opinion she does more hurt than anything because her service is SUB PAR. I have been in MANY dental offices in my day and when you know what a GOOD dentist is a how you are supposed to be treated it makes the SUBPAR dentists, like Dr. Baker stand out like a sore thumb. We trust Dr. Rinehart and his staff to provide top quality care taking into account the value of your time and the impact on your finances. More than once they repaired something for a fraction of the cost of replacement. He's not out to line his pockets like the others, he's out to be an advocate for his patients. And Frankie was unwilling to work with me as well, because, she said, "that's not how we do things here anymore." Apparently, much has changed in a year, sadly. There was a GLITCH with my insurance, not on my end, but on the insurance company end. This happened once before about a year ago here and it all worked out and went through fine at this same office. This time, I had the same problem. I reminded her that this happened before but Kylie/Keely refused to help me after I was passed to her by Frankie (who also told me she would not work with me to sort it out), insisting I pay out of pocket. Not only did I remind her that this happened previously and had the proof to show it all worked out (EOB's), I also had my insurance info available as well as had my insurance company call and verify my info directly with Kylie/Keely and send her proof of current good standing insurance coverage! Kylie/Keely insisted that this was not enough "proof" of insurance, and even with my credit card on file, insurance calling her directly, insurance company directly sending proof of coverage to Kylie/Keely and Frankie, and my willingness to pay out of pocket if need be and providing them with my credit card, she absolutely refused to believe I had coverage and would not work with me whatsoever. WHAT!?!? So Kylie/Keely took my credit card, immediately billed me and refused all info that came directly from my insurance company.... directly from the insurance company!!! I will never ever go here again, nor will my family. My suggestion? Get a new insurance person for the office because Kylie/Keely will most definitely cost you more customers. Firstly, her attitude is incredulous! I have never been treated so poorly. I am NOT a scumbag. I pay my bills and work hard to ensure I have proper insurance and take care of my debts...but Kylie/Keely and Frankie made me feel like I was nothing. I have never been made to feel so terrible in my life by anybody. Frankie should not be employed there either, given her lack of wanting to help patrons and refusing to do anything to work with me for absolutely no reason other than that is not how things are done in your office anymore! You just lost an entire family full of business....a family FULLY insured and who pays any and all copays in full and on time.
