The wrapper and price sticker of $60 still in place, with receipt. I was told that the return policy is only 3 DAYS from purchase with original receipt. I could come back to speak with the manager 2 days later. When I returned,, the manager reiterated that there is a 3 day return policy. "Sorry this wasn't mentioned at time of purchase." There was no followup explanation until I called to complain and THEN they apologized for the confusion and blaming the doctor although that was never mentioned at the appointment. I was told by them that they would not even submit the request, because in there experience they never get paid for cases similar to this. I was told by Medicare all we needed to do was have the doctor submit a change in condition form, but Prime Care refused to help. Clearly these people are interested in the easy way out and not interested in helping people. Try Lincare instead. I had to pick the equipment up in Plainview, but they were extremely professional and very helpful.

They should never have been awarded the Medicare contract. It's just a scam - they are paid more if billed privately than the amount they would receive from Medicare. What's worse is I was in a bind so I agreed to pay monthly for my mother's wheelchair and was told the monthly price. They called a few weeks later to say they made a mistake & I'd have to pay an additional $33.00 I'm going to do everything I can to make sure the contract is rescinded.
