I will never shop at this store again. My husband purchased a chair pad in preparation for upcoming hip replacement surgery. He thought it would be best to have all equipment he would need post surgery at home. His surgery was 10 days after the purchase. Post surgery he realized that the chair pad would not work. It was too high to place on a chair. A simple pillow was a better alternative. 5 days later I attempted to return the unopened chair pad. The wrapper and price sticker of $60 still in place, with receipt. I was told that the return policy is only 3 DAYS from purchase with original receipt. I could come back to speak with the manager 2 days later. When I returned,, the manager reiterated that there is a 3 day return policy. "Sorry this wasn't mentioned at time of purchase." I visited them last Thursday to replace the rubber tips on a quad cane. Staff told me how to measure for new tips. At that time I discussed the problem of replacing the "ski skids" from my Stander Walker. Staff told me to bring in the walker so that they could assist me in removing the worn skids. I live two towns east of the business. I arrived Friday afternoon. They denied offering me help , and I had to leave with the unattended walker. I will never buy anything from them. I was going to return for the cane tips and was also considering the purchase of a rollator walker. I am a World Trade Center patient with mobility problems. read more

Avoid at all cost!! This business is unable to assist during a critical time of our families needs. Dealing with a dying father and ailing mother, they refused to return our calls and were unwilling to address our issues. Nothing gets done without SAL (mystery owner) that never seems to be in the office. Even if SAL seems to be working, issues still don't get addressed. They over charge on hospital bed rentals and place the responsibility of scheduling a return of their equipment on the customer. They are a glorified paw shop/storage facility with inept staff and an incompetent owner. There are plenty of other businesses on the island that are professional and kind during difficult times. If I could give this place a zero I would...they are LAZY LAZY LAZY and RUDE...they said they accepted no fault insurance but then when they need to call or do anything for verification they tell me "oh nope I'm not calling you call" meanwhile adjuster is the one they need to speak with not me!!! Then they have the wrong info regarding my prescription which I have corrected with them 3 times and for some reason they still have the wrong info!!! They are the worst and treat their customers like crap...I can only wish that they have to go through my pain and have no one help their lazy asses!!! I gave the 2 stars for the orthotist as they seem very knowledgeable. The business staff is less than to be desired! I paid by credit card last February for medical equipment I received for an upcoming surgery. In May I realized I had not been reimbursed as I had surpassed my medical out of pocket by $$$ so I called them. After about 20 phone calls and many hours on the phone I finally convinced them to send my claim to the insurance Company My insurance company paid them in November!! I had to make 2 more calls to get my reimbursement check!!! I did finally receive my check in full! Not a happy customer to say the least! read more

I wanted to acknowledge Michael, the Orthotist, who is a hidden gem. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable and compassionate with his customers. He spent a lot of time helping me and made sure my needs were met and that I received quality care and service. He made everything run so smoothly. I also want to recognize John in billing who was exceptionally helpful, smart and spot on. He saw too it that he fully resolved a question I had from start to finish in the best possible, time efficient way and was very accurate with his assessment. Their customer service has steadily declined during the past ciuple of years. Wr have been getting much needed supplies for catheterization for over 5 years. The past 3 deliveries, were delayed over a month and caused considerable stress and heartache on us. Their message on hold os a joke. I would give them no stars if that was possible. This staff is so unprofessional and rude. I went in there to ask a question about something for my daughter and this women literally had the nerve to look laugh under her breath and go not with that insurance and walk away from me. Now first off, I work in the healthcare field and if my boss ever heard me speak to any of my patients that way I would be fired on the spot. Also, the fact that her supervisor is sitting right behind her and doesn't say a word goes to show that none of them have any respect. I have spoken to my child doctor who sends all his patients here and have told him he should reconsider and try to find a new company because this place is absolutely horrible. If you can go somewhere else I highly recommend it. Also, they are a rip off what I needed for my daughter they were like you can rent it for $100 deposit and $50 a week, when I got back to work I can purchase a brand new one for $100. She was rude to me & refused to help me also in 2018. Now I know she did so because I'm a woman of color. All the staff was terrific and especially the three we worked most closely with Carol, Jay, and Ken. They were great in helping work with both the doctors office and the insurance company. I have been a loyal customer at the All-Pro Medical Supplies located in Patchogue, NY for the past 10 years. Due to a severe Neurological Disorder, I am limited to a Golden Technologies Lift Chair. I purchase all Durable Medical Equipment from All-Pro, and each time have received the quality of service and attention, which has become a thing of the past decades ago. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their products, and takes your personal needs into consideration. I am not an easy customer, and have tested their patience to the max, and have never felt rushed. Based upon their inventory of medical equipment, they have never been less than compassionate. The hell I have experienced stems from our Healthcare System, with Policies which violate ADA and Civil Rights Laws, and excessive gate-keeping at the Insurance level. In defense of the front staff, they have been professional and helpful without exception. Finally, the Patchogue location is clean and well organized. Anything less would not be tolerated by the Director. I can only assume that the negative comments refer to a different location. As a customer, I would not tolerate the conditions you describe. As an American-born citizen, I am also sick and tired of corporations who have out-sourced their customer service and manufacturing---this should be our primary grievance. This was the worst experience I have had with ANY business. The staff was rude, the product was of poor quality and the place was a disgusting mess. I needed a cane and my orthopedist sent over a prescription on Friday. When I called All Pro Medical Supplies they said that they had 4 faxes ahead of me and would try to get to it by the end of the day and, if not, to come in Saturday for it. I went there on Saturday and was told that it wasn't done. I explained what I was told on the phone and they basically through up their hands. Then I told them that I wasn't leaving without my cane and would wait until it was done. "Magically" my order was complete in 5 minutes. They pointed to the canes without any eye contact and told me to choose. It was the wrong kind of cane and because they were so incompetent the day before, now my doctor wasn't in to fix the wording of the prescription to their liking. I had to take the wrong kind of cane because I really needed it. There are plenty of place to get medical supplies so you have a choice. Choose to go elsewhere, anywhere else but this god-awful place. Losing business will either force them to change or go out of business. Either way that's a win. read more
