I had recently moved back from college and was looking for a new vet for my dog. I initially chose…read morethis place because it's close to my home and the reviews here sounded good. I can say that I do love this place and would recommend them to anyone. I've come here for my dog's nail trimmings and exams for his heartworm medication for the most part of the last six months but this week, I brought him in to get neutered. Prior to his drop off appointment, my dog had gotten into chocolate and thrown up a lot and he also got hurt at some point while I was at work. They told me that they didn't feel comfortable operating on him since he was already hurt but that they wanted to keep him for the day to examine him. Turned out that my little guy had a fever and something called intervertebral disk disease. They called me multiple times throughout the day while I was at work to keep me updated, they stayed a little after their closing hours to accommodate me getting there after work to pick him up, and they called me the next day after I took my dog home to check in and see how he was doing. They consistently welcome me when I come in the door and make sure that my dog's needs are handled to the best of their ability. I'm honestly just thankful that they care about my dog and other pets so well and I'm comfortable leaving my buddy in their hands. Definitely recommend.

I was originally quoted $128 for my cat's sedated cleaning. I normally pay no more than…read moreapproximately $110, but the employee gave me a detailed explanation of the services and charges included in the $128 quote, and I agreed to that amount. I also initially asked about flea treatment but decided to decline it because I already have the same flea treatment they would have used at home. I dropped my cat off around 8:30 a.m. and received a call around 10:00 a.m. letting me know that he would be ready for pickup around 3:00 p.m. I arrived on time and was then told that my bill was $195, plus a $5-6 credit card service charge, bringing my total to $200.85. Before the service was performed, I was given paperwork with boxes to check indicating which services I wanted completed. I agreed only to the cleaning and nail trimming. I did not authorize the additional services or charges that later appeared on my bill. After requesting an itemized receipt and questioning the additional charges, I was told that ear cleaning was included with the cleaning service. My concern is that this was not clearly explained to me when I agreed to the original $128 quote and signed the paperwork. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled. My issue is not simply that the final bill was higher--it is that I was charged substantially more than the amount I agreed to without receiving a phone call or being asked to authorize the additional charges beforehand. Even a simple phone call explaining that the total would increase would have allowed me to make an informed decision and prepare for the additional expense. Unfortunately, this experience has genuinely made me hesitant to return for future services because I now have concerns about being charged more than the amount I was quoted and agreed to. I believe customers should be clearly informed of any additional charges and given the opportunity to approve them before those charges are added to their bill.

The second cat needed his teeth pulled and i went to get an assessment of his teeth here . the vet barely looked at his teeth and said that his teeth were infected and he needed to get them pulled asap. The vet could not fit me in at all within the time i asked (which was about a month or two) I told them i needed to take my cat elsewhere as i needed to have it done within a month/two. After i said this he told me he could actually fit me in soon. He gave me the date...which was the day i went to the vet to get the teeth evaluated. after letting him know he was giving the wrong date he proceeded to give me the same date again and then a date a month before i even got there. it was very jarring hearing that as he didn't seem completely present when he was speaking to me. i decided i needed to go to another vet as this was a bad experience. the second vet i went to gave a proper evaluation and told me his teeth weren't infected and were able to schedule a surgery within a month. i had a wonderful time with them and they were very sweet and handled my cats amazing. i'm giving this review today because i tried requesting vet paperwork for my first cat. i had gotten vaccinations and medication here before. when requesting the information the vet sent me over a blank document with incorrect information for my cat. i requested them again as i said i had gotten vaccinations and medication here. sent me a blank paper again. all in all this place seems very unorganized and unprofessional. If you truly care for you pets go somewhere else. They care more for the money they charge you than the pets actual care.

She stood there helpless and refusing to answer if I was able to walk back and also not going back to address the issue herself, effectively holding my dog hostage against my wishes. She couldnt answer and instead told me to pay. Pay for what? She couldn't tell me what had been done.
