I recently purchased an electric guitar from the Lev's Pawn shop on Hudson St. In Columbus. Great guitar and even better service. The price was better than a used guitar online. I got first class service from the gentleman working that day. He was very helpful and courteous. I would suggest this location to anyone seeking a positive experience on pre owned music equipment. Thank you Lev's Pawn shop! read more

I love antique jewelry and occasionally indulge in a sparkling impulse purchase. This place (and their downtown location) is one of my favorite shops. They really recognize quality craftsmanship. While the older male downtown isn't the greatest with customer service, I don't mind that he's blunt because he knows what he's talking about. Jake, at the East side location, is who I prefer to deal with. The team there is knowledgeable and friendly. They can be a little rough around the edges (especially when they're busy) but I'm not exactly walking into FAO Schwartz, so I have reasonable expectations - that are always exceded. read more

Lev's Pawn Shop - I get compliments on this ring constantly. - Pawn Shops Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

I see a lot of bad reviews on here, I think Lev's is great! Maybe not what it used to be, but neither is the area they are in? It is very fast pace some days when you go in here, but you try dealing with that and see how you hold up just for an hour with some people that come in lol. Secondly I prefer this one much more than the one on Brice rd, customer service is better, they will also work with you on items Brice will not. I have been coming in here since I was a little girl and it truly feels like a homey place, if you give respect you get it and that's how it should be. read more

A friend of mine and I went in to see if we could sell an antique clock and a camera..The owner was very nasty and gave us both an attitude..After a few minutes he said he would give us $25 for both the clock and camera..About 10 minutes after that he opened the back of the clock(which was working perfectly up until this time) played with the gears in the clock and then recsined the deal.. I had walked away but turned around in time to see him mess with the clock to make it stop working and give him pretense to cancel the deal..The shady way he did it made me very angry.. His son on the other hand was very nice to us and was willing to give us money for the camera but, after what his father did to the clock we decided to leave and not deal with them.. This is a shady outfit and I wouldn't recommend going to them to buy or sell anything read more

To start I couldn't get any assistance even after asking for help. What I assume was the owner (older white guy) asked me if I needed help and I said I did, he said ok one second and walked away to answer the phone while his wife wandered aimlessly. What was the icing on the cake is the fun prices, it's almost comical how overpriced the guns they have are. I was looking at smith and Wesson shields that were priced between $389 and $415. The one had visible rust in the pins that you could see through the glass, I couldn't inspect the internals because no one could be bothered to assist me. Those guns new online are $389, so they are charging new prices for a firearm that is obviously damaged. It's shops like these that give pawnshops a bad rap. read more

I was looking for an inexpensive 22 plinker. Stopped in the Harrisburg Pike location. They hooked me up! Would recommend highly! I will purchase from them again. read more

I would give them half of a star if Yelp would let me. I went to the Brice Rd location to sell a mobile phone video game controller. The customer service was terrible. They spoke hardly anything and before looking up a price the owner says " what, did you get this at walmart for $5.99?" with a condescending tone. They made little effort to look up the exact item I had and only found previous cheaper models. They clearly are not big into customer service. A simple "hi" or "thanks for coming" would have made a big difference but they have their heads shoved so far up their a**, that they said nothing. Don't go here. And if you do, tell them I said " f*** you a**holes!" read more

Purchased a pc tower from them that APPEARED to work until I got it home and found that they had loaded their own software onto the system! Software imbedded with malware! Within 1 day - BLUE SCREEN~! WTF? It was a 32 bit Windows XP built system with Windows 7 Home Premium put on it....cannot get them to repair what is wrong with system and was told, oh well....should have checked with us BEFORE you purchased. I did and the "salesman" that showed me the info said NOTHING about them installing software onto the system. I was not allowed to test it or run any diagnostics on it before purchased (shame on me right).....but moreso shame on them for KNOWING that they are selling me a product that THEY modified and did not FULLY DISCLOSE about it. Will also be filing a complaint with the BBB against them as this will be my only outlet to try and get my money back from them! You can't see modified equipment and not supply the software used - luckily it's genuine Microsoft Software - but I need the disc used in order to correct the problems that the system is having - they didn't bother to install the recovery portion of the software....which makes me think they don't really own the correct licensing for what they installed on the system! Where is the disc and the original product key - how man PC's have the same serial number as mine? SHADY to say the least read more

drove over to see if there was any deals to be had on car audio and they sent me to morse rd :(
