When my friend mentioned he liked the "Pigeon with Dunkin" patch but couldn't find a bucket hat with one on it, the gentleman offered to sew one on in real time. They have beanies, trucker hats, bags, stickers, notebooks, stickers and more. All with the absolute perfect artwork of animals, mostly getting into mischief. Imagine raccoons enjoying candy, goat chewing beer can, pigeons with coffee and donuts. Truly special artwork in my opinion. An artist I look forward to continuing to support. It does carry some t-shirts and trinket type items but most of the inventory is centered around higher quality and practical clothing. The company has been around since 1902 and is perhaps most famous for it's wide selection of warm and quality sweaters. Definitely something people need to survive the winters up here. There are also heaps of shoes and boots, scarves, warm socks, hats, swimwear, sun glasses, watches and of course high quality long underwear. I even saw some life jackets in the store. Definitely a wide variety of different and very useful items. The prices here vary but tend to reflect the higher quality of the merchandise. Jansons isn't a good place to find trinkets and souvenirs but it is a great store to find quality clothing to keep your butt warm during the cold Maine winters.
