I am a patient at Levine Hearing and want any other potential patient to know how extraordinary Madison Levine's care is. Before being diagnosed and treated by Madison Levine, I went to other audiologists in Charlotte. I was upset with the treatment from these other audiologists because after the hearing exam, I was turned over to a salesperson who was more interested in what I had to spend on hearing aids and what color I wanted than what my hearing test results would suggest would work best for me. In a sense, it was very much like buying a car: did I want this color, did I want 4 cylinders or 6, did I want cloth or leather seats, etc. I was so upset with this approach that I spent almost a full year before again approaching the issue of getting hearing aids. When I was advised again I needed hearing aids, I again found the same sales practices and had the same reaction: why weren't the audiologists talking to me about what I needed based on my hearing test, rather than some salesperson trying to convince me about what to buy. So I started to search for an audiologist who wouldn't treat me like a source of income and who would be concerned about a successful outcome improving my hearing. After finding, meeting with, and having a hearing test from Madison Levine, I finally had found a person who was warm, professional, extremely thorough, and who recommended hearing aids based on my needs, not a large organization's monthly financial results. Madison Levine fitted me with a new pair of hearing aids which have been ideal for my needs and have enabled me to hear many sounds I had forgotten one could hear. She has also followed up with me, making adjustments to the sounds I could hear based on my reaction to a variety of situations. I have had my hearing aids now for several months, and could not be more satisfied with the improvement in my hearing and, moreover, the phenomenal care I received from Madison Levine. - Gary Knight, Charlotte, NC read more

since 2005 i have been deaf on my right side and i have been gradually losing hearing on my left side. i was unsure about which hearing aid manufacturer would be best for me and more important who could i trust to give me the hearing aid i needed. after doing some research,i decided on a couple of manufacturing companies i thought would be best for my hearing problem. yet again i put off doing anything. still not sure who to go to. it was just easier to do nothing. by chance a friend gave me an advertisement about madison and levine hearing. as i read about madison , i realized "madison was the one i had been waiting for". she had the hearing aid companies i was interested in. i made an appointment right then. madison is very knowledgeable about her work. madison is very patient, and is a kind and gentle person with a warm and soothing voice. she does not pressure or push you. she just helps you. my starkey bi cross hearing aids allow me to hear everything on my right side again, and my hearing on the left side is better than ever. i called madison for my hearing problem, and i recommend you do the same. you will love her!! i know i do ! read more

The care I have received at Levine Hearing has been top-notch! While shopping for new hearing aids, I had been to several other audiologists from both small and large practice groups as well as the hearing aid department at the wholesale store in the area. I went to Levine Hearing after seeing an ad in the local paper and it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made! Madison's knowledge, patience and attentiveness made the whole process very easy and comfortable. Under her care, I went from hearing "well enough" to being able to rejoin conversations and hearing in situations where I have had very limited ability in the past. The exam and the testing were extremely thorough and covered a much broader range of tones than any of the other places. She explained in detail her findings and went on to recommend a hearing aid that matched my loss and my lifestyle. Levine Hearing's prices are competitive and the follow-up care includes much more than all the other places with no hidden fees. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. I highly recommend Levine Hearing!! read more

Right from the start you are treated as a welcomed friend. Lets face it, finding out you need hearing aids is not the biggest boost to ones ego! The service you receive from Madison and her staff at Levine Hearing couldn't be any better. There is absolutely no doubt that they want you happy and comfortable with your new accessory. Madison takes the time to explain everything to you and to give you the different options that are available. She truly listens to what questions, concerns and/or any discomforts you may be having, especially concerning your adjustment to hearing aids. I've been to other audiologist, priced out hearing aids before and her pricing is very comparable to others' (Including a wholesale club) she is educated in her field, not just trained and she has provided much better service. If you are in the need of an audiologist and/or hearing aids, I highly recommend you call Levine Hearing. read more

No more making everybody repeat themselves, no more subtitles, no more ridiculous misunderstandings or misinterpretations. Having worn hearing aids for the last 18 years by multiple manufacturer's and provided by multiple audiologist, I am glad I made the decision to put my trust in Madison and Levine Hearing. After shopping around I met with Madison for a test and fitting. During this time she explained the options and benifits of one aid over the other. Upon return for pickup, Madison had gone a step further after listening to my lifestyle and had an add-on that she thought I would like on hand, I am glad she did. She took the time to understand my lifestyle and help me. If you're thinking of having a hearing test or finding an audiologist, I would HIGHLY recommend Madison at Levine Hearing. read more

Madison Levine is so knowledgeable, sweet, patient, and just a joy to go to! She took the time to explain to me what was going on with my ear with lots of patience and in words that I can understand. I am not locally from Charlotte, but I'm pretty sure next time I have trouble with my ears I will travel back here so she can treat me! The price for the visit was one of the bests I found in the area! Her office has a very welcoming and homey feel to it! Def highly recommend her! And Joanne att the reception desk/phone was THE sweetest too! She called right before my appointment to make sure I had the right directions to get to the office! Levine Hearing Center was the best experience I had in finding the ideal hearing aids for me. I researched and looked around to see that other places just wanted to sell me the most expensive hearing aids and did not give me the personable experience that Madison gave me. Madison gave a thorough examination and listened to me, asked me question and chose the hearing aids for me. Thank You Madison for greatly improving my quality of life. Yep, like the little saying above says, she's as good as it gets! Madison is a very caring and thoughtful person who wants you to be satisfied with your devices. She goes the extra mile to make that happen. Although she can't return your hearing to when you were 19, she does a fantastic job of working with what she's got to work with. She's straight forward with you, and will tell it like it is. Try her - you'll like her! And, then there is JoAnn who takes care of the front. What a wonderful and dynamic person. Dr, Eileen at Levine Hearing is fantastic and so is the staff. I have to admit I didn't want to spend the money and I was very wishy washy at first. They were very patient with me and very kind and assured me that their hearing aids were very good. I've been wearing mine for six months now and I love them. I've even gone to bed with them by accident but realized it and took them out. I love how I can listen to my podcasts through the hearing aids on my phone. They are very comfortable and I like them a lot. read more

Took my 67 year old mother for hearing loss that occurred some years ago. What a great place. Dr Madison does great tests and assessments then explains everything. Love Joann the receptionist so easy to work with. Highly recommend! Love the Starkey hearing aid because people cannot see it. Dr Madison has a maintenance plan that comes with the price of the aid. I priced one other place for same aid and price is competitive but Dr Madison is such a great lady we really wanted to go with her. Never felt rushed. read more

I love this practice and they are very worthy of a 5 star review! I was having issues with tinnitus and my hearing and wasn't sure what to expect going in, but the entire staff was beyond friendly. It didn't feel super clinical or routine, I felt like I was actually welcomed. They helped me find a hearing aid that best suited me and walked me through the process step by step (it uses an app and that took some learning). They've been awesome all around and their customer service is exceptional :) read more

Posting again because Madison and her team are fantastic. When I started having issues with tinnitus she educated me about options to help manage it including a tinnitus therapy app on my phone where i stream white noise or other sounds direct to my hearing aids and it has really helped! So even if you don't have hearing loss, but suffer from chronic tinnitus that is reducing your quality of life, I highly recommend making an appointment to see if there is anything they can do to help. read more

Madison is a consummate professional, and she has great people skills. Her testing was thorough, as was her explanation of the results. My new hearing aids have added to quality of life, and Madison's follow-ups are most welcome. She monitors patient's experience and, then, fine-tunes the hearing aids if warranted. Having never worn hearing aids, I can see that the process could be daunting, but Madison removes all misgivings with her caring approach. Jim C read more
